In the Washington Lottery, officials are scrambling to find the holder of a $1 million ticket, per the website.
The ticket was bought in the Renton area and has a deadline on it that is closing in fast.
The player bought the ticket on June 20 of this year, and has until December 17 to come forward and make themself known.
This gives the player a total of 180 days to claim the prize.
In this Mega Millions game, the winning numbers were 26, 49, 58, 61, 63, and the bonus number was 09.
If you believe you are holding onto the winning ticket, you are advised to come forward as quickly as possible.
You can do this by visiting the lottery offices or calling them.
MORE PRIZES
There are plenty more cash prizes up for grabs in the Washington Lottery, too.
The most commonly unclaimed game is Match 4, which has several unclaimed prizes all worth $10,000.
The games have varying deadlines, with many in December.
However, one has a deadline of October 23, 2025, leaving the player little time to show themself.
The ticket was bought in Edmonds and has the numbers 08, 09, 15 and 18.
There is also a Match 4 game with seven players yet to come forward for the $10,000.
Five of the tickets were bought in the Tumwater area, the sixth was bought in Seattle, and the seventh was bought in Mukilteo.
Lucky lottery numbers – fact or fiction?

The U.S. Sun spoke exclusively with professor of mathematics at Davidson College, Tim Chartier, who revealed the truth behind lucky numbers.
Scooping up a jackpot prize in a lottery game such as Powerball or Mega Millions involves correctly guessing a series of numbers.
Many players swear by certain numbers, sticking with digits such as birthdays, anniversaries, or ages – but do these numbers statistically carry the luck that players believe they do?
According to Chartier, they do.
“I think a number is lucky if you have fun playing it and it improves your experience of winning,” he said.
“The big lotteries are, statistically speaking, a chance to dream of being a multi-millionaire or even billionaire. If playing a certain number heightens that experience, then yes!”
However, the lottery expert clarified that aside from the feel-good implications of playing your “lucky numbers,” no number is truly lucky when it comes to the lottery.
“All numbers are equally likely,” said Chartier.
He explained that even though all numbers are equally likely, some may seem to appear more often.
For example, rolling a six-sided die six times does not guarantee that you will roll each number exactly once.
These seven players have until December 30 to come and claim, with the winning numbers as 04, 11, 12 and 20.
HIT5 GAMES
There are also two Hit5 games to claim on in the state, with one set with a Christmas Eve deadline of December 24.
This ticket is worth $240,000 and was purchased in Tacoma.
The other Hit5 game has a deadline of January 2, 2026, leaving plenty of time to come forward.
This game has a cash prize of $110,000, and the ticket has the numbers 07, 19, 28, 38 and 42.
This ticket was bought in Seattle.
If you think you have any of these winning tickets, you are similarly advised to come forward as soon as you can.
