DANICA PATRICK set pulses racing as she showed off her America-themed tattoo on Independence Day.

She proudly displayed the tattoo – half of the US flag combined with a checkered flag.
It sits low on Patrick’s back and it was fitting she showed it off on July 4.
She shared a photo of it on Instagram alongside some pics of herself in the pool and on a golf course, as well as some customary fireworks.
Patrick, 43, captioned the post: “I got that American 
/ checkered 
flag tattoo (no Picasso 
) when I came back from living in the uk for 3 years from 16-19….
“Because I was proud and grateful to be home. Thank you to those who make safe and free. 
”
Fans loved the tattoo and complimented the star on her physique.
One reacted saying: “Wow! Love your body tone. Looking great Danica!”
Another added: “I like the tattoo idea pretty cool.”

And another commented: “Looking good Danika! Happy 4th!”
Patrick also enjoyed a round of golf with her younger sister Brooke, her husband Chase and their father over the weekend.
It comes just weeks after she met President Donald Trump on board Air Force One.
joined Trump on a recent rally in Michigan after being a regular fixture on his presidential campaign trail ahead of his re-election.
And that saw her fly on his own private aeroplane.
The pair posed for a photo together seated next to each other.
And the former IndyCar driver took to Instagram to tell fans what they chatted about.
Patrick wrote: “I asked @realdonaldtrump on the flight home from the last rally in Michigan… what is the most important quality of being in office was.
“And he said….. courage.”
Patrick also revealed details of another conversation she overheard involving Trump when he was asked about the court case following the 2020 election defeat.
Patrick said of Trump: “I love you. Who are you?
“Well, that’s just a very nice question. And it is not a setup, I have no idea who you are but I appreciate that.
“All I can say is that we’re for that. I hope so. I hope they’re doing things because that election was rigged and stolen, and we can’t allow that to happen.
“You know, a lot of people tell me, ‘Sir, you just won the greatest election in the history of our country. You won in numbers and all seven swing states, won the popular vote – won every vote, everything. Sir, go on with your life.’
“And the many people that say that good people, friends of mine, many say that same thing: go on with your life, but you have to find out what happened because you can’t let that happen again.”
