UPDATED 8:20 p.m.:
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Police will provide an update to an officer-involved shooting in central Sioux Falls near 10th Street and South Garfield Avenue Monday.
According to Sioux Falls police, officers were involved in a shooting at 5:42 p.m. Monday. Assistant Police Chief Nick Cook will provide details at a media briefing at 8:30 p.m. You can watch that update in the video player above.
A spokesman with the attorney general’s office says the Division of Criminal Investigations is in charge of the investigation.

A large police presence was spotted at the intersection of 10th Street and Lincoln Avenue in Sioux Falls.
KELOLAND photographers were able to capture these photos of the scene at approximately 6:30 p.m. Monday night.
Police on the scene say there is no threat to the public.
