NBA fans spot worrying Bronny James mistakes during LA Lakers Summer League game – ‘needs to develop more’

NBA fans were not impressed with Bronny James’ latest performance during the Summer League.

Bronny and the Lakers faced the San Antonio Spurs at Chase Center in the final game of the California Classic.

Los Angeles beat the Spurs 89-88, but the headlines were on Bronny, who had a brutal night of play.

He scored just two points on one-of-five shooting from the field.

Bronny also had three turnovers in 15 minutes of play.

NBA fans also spotted a few troubling plays involving the 19-year-old.

During one play, James drove to the paint but lost control of the ball, resulting in a turnover.

Then, toward the end of the first half, he air-balled a wide-open layup.

Fans reacted to Bronny’s glaring mistakes on social media.

“That was bad. Even though it’s an NBA summer league game,” one wrote.

“Bronny should stay in the summer league,” another commented.

“He’s bad,” a third said.

Bronny’s performance was a steep decline from his first Summer League game on July 6.

He posted 10 points in 11 minutes against the Miami Heat.

Bronny hit two of his three shots from behind the arc.

Nonetheless, there will be pressure on the two-way player in the upcoming season.

James experienced a disappointing rookie season as he spent time both on the main team and the South Bay Lakers in the G League.

He averaged just 2.3 points and 0.8 assists in 27 games.

It appears that Bronny will have a tough spot making the Lakers lineup with a shooting guard group that has stars like Dalton Knecht and Shake Milton, among others.
