ANGEL Reese revealed a message after she beat superstar Caitlin Clark to capture a WNBA honor.
The Chicago Sky star power forward’s stardom has helped her land on the cover of an upcoming installment.

On Tuesday morning, the popular video game franchise 2k announced the slate of stars who would join Oklahoma City Thunder star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to grace the cover of NBA 2k26.
Reese was revealed as the face of the WNBA edition of the basketball video game, and Hall of Famer Carmelo Anthony landed on the Superstar Edition cover.
Just 20 minutes later, Reese seemed to share her eight-word reaction to the news on X.
“Good morning,” the 23-year-old wrote in one post before writing in another, “It’s ok guys… GOD IS REAL,” along with a praying emoji.
Then, in response to the news, Reese wrote, “Of course we do everything BIG. “Why not debut my signature shoe on the cover of NBA2K?!?!”
However, WNBA fans were stunned that Reese earned the feat over the Indiana Fever star Clark, who is the face of the league.
“Caitlyn Clark not being the cover girl of 2k is crazy,” one wrote.
“Caitlin Clark deserves to be on the cover of NBA 2k26 but they gave it to Angel Reese instead,” another commented.
“Clark got snubbed,” a third said.
Reese is one of the more polarizing players in basketball, and she hasn’t been popular due to her rivalry with Clark.
During the 2023 NCAA championship game, Reese taunted Clark with a gesture as her LSU squad eventually won the big game.
It would’ve been more favorable for Clark to don the WNBA edition cover due to her massive popularity.
But Reese has popularity in her own right as she graced the cover of Vogue magazine in January.
And just like Clark, she has earned her second trip to the All-Star game thanks to fan voting.

Reese has also been on a tear recently as she has a WNBA record six straight games with 15 or more rebounds.
Entering Wednesday, Clark missed nine of 18 games due to injuries.
She has averaged 19.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 8.4 assists, however.
And Clark returned from injury to play in the Fever’s game on Wednesday, in which they lost 80-61 to the Golden State Valkyries.
Clark will undoubtedly have a great chance to be on the cover of next year’s 2K video game.
