Orlovsky’s future has been under a microscope since February when he signed off from First Take and revealed his uncertainty with ESPN.

The former NFL quarterback’s contract was set to expire this summer.

But on Wednesday, it was announced by ESPN that Orlovsky has signed a “multi-year agreement” to remain with the network.

ESPN also revealed that Orlovsky will continue his regular duties on NFL Live and his work as a game analyst for Monday Night Football‘s No. 2 team.

Orlovsky will also continue to appear on First Take, SportsCenter, Get Up, and The Pat McAfee Show.

Front Office Sports had reported earlier this week that Orlovsky was “at the 1-yard line” on signing a long-term contract extension with ESPN.

Fans reacted to the news of Orlovsky returning to ESPN on X.

“The best NFL analyst on ESPN,” one wrote.

“One of the best in the biz,” another commented.

“Well deserved @danorlovsky,” a third said.

“Great signing by ESPN,” a fourth added.

Orlovsky himself reacted to his long-term deal with ESPN.

He wrote on X, “Officially official Unbelievably grateful.

“Unfinished work to be done. The best job in the world.”

Orlovsky joined ESPN in 2018 after a 12-year NFL career.

He’s known for breaking down game film and going in-depth with his analysis on quarterbacks.

Orlovsky will work five games in ESPN’s MNF booth for the 2025 season.

He’s part of a B team that includes Chris Fowler, Louis Riddick, and Laura Rutledge.
