Love Island USA finale to feature TWO surprise celebrity guests as producers expect ‘very tight’ race for winning couple

The couples going into the finale include Ace Greene and Chelley Bissainthe, Nic Vansteenberghe and Olandria Carthen, Huda Mustafa and Chris Seeley, Pepe Garcia and Iris Kendall, and Amaya Espinal and Bryan Arenales.

The U.S. Sun can exclusively reveal what viewers could expect from Sunday night’s finale.

“We are working on having one or two special guests, like we did when Megan Thee Stallion came to the show,” a production source told The U.S. Sun.

“It should be a man and a woman celebrity, but we are still working on that and we are close to knowing who would be coming to the show for the last episode.

“It’s going to be great and we expect to reach the highest viewership of any Love Island finale, and to have a great end of the season.”

The insider added that the race is “very tight” when it comes to the finale’s winning couple.

“Production is very torn between two couples: Amaya and Bryan or Ace and Chelley,” the source claimed. “Both of those couples have an advantage, and it now depends on them to finish the job the right way and wait for the results.”

The insider said Ace and Chelley, “Have been together for the longest and their connection is very, very solid.”

“They are a dynamic couple, they do a lot of stuff together and they have shown that they can work also after the show, and become something real and very solid,” the insider said of the couple, who had an emotional and loving moment in the Hideaway on last night’s episode

As for Amaya and Bryan, the source said of their shot at winning, “Their connection is the newest, but Bryan and her are showing a genuine way of connecting and taking things naturally without faking it, which is also a very good thing for the fans.

“They have been doing great, and Bryan is fan-favorite as he is genuinely a sweet guy, a nice person with her and people love to see that instead of drama, tension and some men being too cold and not sweet to their partner.

“Those two couples have a clear advantage and all the feedback we get shows us the same too.”

Fans have been rooting for the two couples to win.

One Ace and Chelley fan wrote on Instagram, “These two actually did the process. They explored, they became friends and now we are here.”

A second commented, “Give Ace his flowers, nobody has put in as much effort as he has, all season.”

A third said, “Aceee & Chelly for the win!!!”

As for Amaya and Bryan, one fan wrote after they helped Huda and Chris mend their relationship, “They are the ONLY couple who has actively encouraged another couple to stay together. They deserve to win!”

“This episode just proved I was right in voting for Amaya and Bryan… and I’m gonna keep voting for them,” a second fan wrote.

A third said, “Amaya+Bryan for the win!!”

SHOW SCANDALS

Love Island USA is wrapping up after facing a series of controversies this season

Original cast member Yulissa Escobar was sent home after the first episode aired when a racial slur said on a podcast resurfaced on social media.

Yulissa apologized for the scandal when she returned home from Fiji.

Cierra Ortega was removed from the island on Sunday after a screenshot of her using a slur resurfaced.

She too apologized, as she said in a video, “I want to first start by addressing, not just anyone that I have hurt or deeply offended, but most importantly, the entire Asian community.

“I am deeply, truly, honestly, so sorry. I had no idea that the word held as much pain, as much harm, and came with the history that it did, or I never would have used it.

“I had no ill intention when I was using it. But that’s absolutely no excuse, because intent doesn’t excuse ignorance.”

But because it is unclear if she actually said the word, she will remain on the show

A production source previously told The U.S. Sun, “Huda has created a whole lot of tension, and that post is very embarrassing and puts us, once again, in a tense situation.

“But she doesn’t say the word clearly, and we had to have a meeting with her, asking her to not create any controversy as we are about to wrap the season.”

The U.S. Sun also previously reported the casting process will be more strict for next season.
