SIOUX FALLS S.D. (KELO) — Former Sioux Falls city councilor and one time state representative Christine Erickson may not be done with politics.
“Look our city is changing, we know that, we look different than we did four years or 10 years ago and we are facing some big challenges, and I think in this moment in time thoughtful strong leadership,” Erickson told KELOLAND News.
KELOLAND News has learned Erickson, who is in the private sector now, is planning to make a major announcement about her future plans with the city.
She wouldn’t confirm to us whether or not she’s planning to run for mayor, but says she’ll make an announcement on July 23rd. KELOLAND’s Don Jorgensen had an exclusive interview with Erickson Friday morning, where she talked more about her plans for the future. The full report will come later on KELOLAND News.
Erickson will make her announcement next Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. on the third floor at Cherapa Interconnect.
