Sen. Joni Ernst tucks ban on Chinese, Russian lab research into national defense bill

Sen. Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) has added to a key military spending bill making its way through Congress a pair of provisions to prevent taxpayer dollars from flowing to research benefiting foreign adversaries, including China and Russia.
