CHARLOTTE Tilbury is one of those brands that looks great on nearly everyone, thanks to its innovative, flattering formulas that stay put all day.
From sparkling eyeshadows to vertigo-inducing mascaras, there are so many Charlotte Tilbury products that I really rate – but they’re not cheap.

Discover Charlotte Tilbury’s collection
Some of the brand’s most-loved products cost a pretty penny, so it’s unsurprising that Charlotte Tilbury ‘dupes’ are one of the internet’s most-discussed beauty topics.
As a beauty writer, I’ve swatched, tested and tried a mammoth share of skincare and make-up in my time.
I’ve found some great Charlotte Tilbury alternatives, which won’t break the bank.
From Charlotte Tilbury’s Hollywood Flawless Filter dupe to an insanely cheap Magic Cream clone, I’ve found all the best alternatives to stock up on.
I won’t tell if you don’t.
Best Charlotte Tilbury dupes reviewed
Best dupe for: Charlotte Tilbury Hypnotising Pop Shots

KIKO Cosmetics Glitter Shower Eyeshadow, £9.99
What’s the dupe? I’ve been a big fan of Charlotte Tilbury’s Pop Shots for a while, but I stumbled across a dupe last Christmas when my sister thrust her favourite KIKO Cosmetics eyeshadow into my hands.
How much is it? At just £9.99, the KIKO Cosmetics Glitter Shower Eyeshadows have a number of the qualities of the Charlotte Tilbury alternative – they’re perfectly glittery and easy to blend, at a fraction of the cost.
Why I love it: Whilst KIKO’s glitter is finer than Charlotte Tilbury’s – meaning it isn’t quite as shimmering and has a more powdery texture – they are easy to build up for your desired look.
KIKO’s Fine Wine shade is a stunning rose gold that is universally flattering and perfect for both the office and the bar.
What’s the original? When it comes to eyeshadow, I’m all about minimal effort – I love a formula that can be daubed onto your eyelids, rather than faffing around with several shades and multiple brushes.
If the same rings true with you, then you’ve probably already had Charlotte Tilbury Hypnotising Pop Shots (£25) on your radar.
These bite-sized eyeshadows are the perfect size for patting into your eyelids for an instant shot of colour and glitter.
Best dupe for: Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Light Wand

e.l.f. Halo Glow Highlight Beauty Wand, £9
What’s the dupe? When e.l.f. announced it was launching the highlighting wands (£9), I was sceptical.
How much is it? The highlighting wands cost £9. I’ve been impressed, especially when you consider the whopping £21 difference in price with the Charlotte Tilbury version.
Why I love it: Whilst e.l.f.’s packaging isn’t quite as luxe (they can’t be turned ‘Off’ like the Charlotte Tilbury alternatives can, meaning they can get quite messy), they deliver a satisfying glow and aren’t too glowy.
My favourite shade is Champagne, which bronzes and highlights simultaneously. I simply dab a couple of dots onto my cheekbones and blend by tapping with my finger. Voila!
What’s the original? I’m always being asked for my verdict on viral products, but the question I keep getting asked is: “Are the Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Lights Wands (£30) any good?”
The simple answer is yes – if you like a bright, bold highlighter and are up for doing a lot of blending. I find the formula a little too intense for me, so I tend to opt for a highlighter that isn’t so pigmented.
Best dupe for: Charlotte Tilbury Magic Hydrator Mist

Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Miracle Hydrating Mist, £17.42 (was £26)
What’s the dupe? When I reached the bottom of my last bottle of Magic Hydrator Mist, I picked up Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Miracle Hydrating Mist on a bit of a whim.
How much is it? The Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Miracle Hydrating Mist costs £26 for a 100ml bottle.
Why I love it: I’ll be honest: I’m not a big fan of Elizabeth Arden’s Eight Hour Cream, due to its thick texture and powerful scent, which didn’t bode well for the Eight Hour Mist.
However, this mist is delicately scented and very lightweight, meaning it sinks into your skin after a few seconds.
Just like the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Hydrator Mist, it instantly hydrates and keeps skin feeling fresh all day long, thanks to being packed full of antioxidants and vitamins.
What’s the original? My skin used to feel incredibly dry halfway through the day (thanks, office air conditioning) before I started using the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Hydrator Mist (£35).
A couple of spritzes over or under make-up, and my skin feels refreshed and rebalanced.
Best dupe for: Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Push-Up Lashes

H&M Never-Ending Lash Mascara, £8.99
What’s the dupe? H&M has recently revamped its beauty offerings, and I’ve been very impressed, especially by the Never-Ending Lash Mascara.
How much is it? The H&M mascara costs £8.99, but before you get put off by a mascara that costs less than a couple of coffees, hear me out…
Why I love it: It is similar to the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Push-Up Lashes, and its fine-tooth comb teases lashes to new heights without clumping or weighing them down.
The formula is easy to remove, too, but it also won’t smudge easily, which is a win if you’ve got watery eyes like me.
What’s the original? Mascara is – hands down – my favourite beauty product. If I could only pack one product for a weekend away, it would be my trusty mascara.
Whilst I like the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Push-Up Lashes mascara (£28) because it doesn’t clump and keeps lashes lengthened all day long, I do think there are cheaper alternatives out there which are just as good.
Best dupe for: Charlotte Tilbury Charlotte’s Magic Lip Oil Crystal Elixir

NYX Professional Makeup Fat Oil Lip Drip Lip Gloss, £7.99
What’s the dupe? If you love the Charlotte Tilbury lip oil as much as I do, you’ll get through it quickly, so it’s worth looking into a cheaper alternative like the NYX Professional Makeup Fat Oil Lip Drip Lip Gloss.
How much is it? The NYX Professional Makeup Fat Oil Lip Drip Lip Gloss costs £7.99. After my first application, my lips felt hydrated and supple, so it’s definitely worth the small investment.
Why I love it: Whilst it’s not as lightweight as Charlotte Tilbury’s offering (it has a slightly stickier consistency), the NYX Fat Oil gives lips a satisfying shimmer that will stay put for longer than you’d expect.
What’s the original? Trying the Charlotte Tilbury Lip Oil (£28) was never high on my agenda – after all, I’ve tried loads of lip oils, so what makes this one so special?
However, the first time I applied it to my lips, I gasped. The Charlotte Tilbury Lip Oil offers unparalleled shine and a glossy finish, without being sticky, so there’s no risk of hair getting stuck to your lips on a windy day.
Best dupe for: Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter

e.l.f. Halo Glow Liquid Filter, £15
What’s the dupe? If you spend any time on TikTok, you might have seen the e.l.f. Halo Glow Liquid Filter is being raved about as a near-perfect dupe for Charlotte Tilbury’s Hollywood Flawless Filter.
How much is it? At just £15, the e.l.f. Halo Glow Liquid Filter is a great wallet-friendly base to wear under foundation for an extra glow or alone on top of your skincare for a natural-looking radiance.
Why I love it: I have tried the e.l.f. Halo Glow Liquid Filter and can confirm that it gives a Kim Cattrall glow and a thin veil of radiant coverage.
It’s not quite as blendable as the Charlotte Tilbury version, and comes in eight shades rather than 12, but the bottle is almost the same size. You only need a small amount applied with the doe foot applicator, meaning it should last a fair while.
What’s the original? Charlotte Tilbury’s Hollywood Flawless Filter is a favourite among makeup fans and a bestseller for good reason. As one of the brand’s hero products, it’s an OG base product that provides consistent results.
Best dupe for: Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream

Revolution Pro Miracle Cream, £10
What’s the dupe? Revolution is famous for its accurate make-up and skincare dupes, and the Revolution Pro Miracle Cream is no exception, thanks to its striking similarities to the bestselling Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream.
How much is it? The Revolution Pro Miracle Cream costs £10, which is a fraction of the price of the Magic Cream.
Why I love it: The Revolution cream is lightweight and formulated with anti-inflammatory shea butter, super hydrating hyaluronic acid and niacinamide, which regulates sebum for clearer skin.
What’s the original? Over the past couple of years, I’ve had an on/off relationship with Charlotte Magic Cream.
While I love its ability to instantly brighten my complexion – meaning it’s a brilliant make-up primer – it’s not hydrating enough for me to use as a standalone moisturiser.
Best dupe for Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk

L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Satin Lipstick Beige a Nu 630, £9.95
What’s the dupe? The L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Satin Lipstick Beige a Nu is a good alternative and shade match to the classic Pillow Talk lipstick – although not identical, it is a lot cheaper.
How much is it? The L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Satin Lipstick costs £9.99, which is a big difference to the Pillow Talk lipstick, which costs £26 a pop.
Why I love it: It’s formulated with Omega 3 and vitamin E for hydration and creaminess and produces a satin/matte finish, just like the original.
What’s the original? Possibly the most famous of the entire Charlotte Tilbury range is the OG Pillow Talk lipstick. It’s creamy and hydrating while still being matte, and the shade suits everyone.

Is there a Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream dupe?
People have gone mad for the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream, and its ability to make skin instantly appear tighter and more glowing.
But if you don’t fancy shelling out up to £80 for skincare, pick up the Revolution Pro Miracle Cream.
The affordable alternative gives skin an instant, radiant boost – thanks to vitamin C – and hyaluronic acid keeps skin feeling hydrated and refreshed all day long.
What is the L’Oréal dupe for Charlotte Tilbury?
Charlotte Tilbury’s Pillow Talk lipstick is a cult favourite for being the ultimate universally flattering pinky-nude that can suit any occasion.
It delivers a matte finish, but it’s hydrating and creamy, so your lips never feel dry.
At £26, it’s pretty pricey. Enter the L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Satin Lipstick Beige a Nu, which is more budget-friendly at £9.99.
It’s also infused with omega 3 and Vitamin E to make your lips feel moisturised and comfortable, with a shade and finish that echoes the original.
Which e.l.f. Foundation is like Charlotte Tilbury?
You can mimic the effect of the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Foundation with the e.l.f. Halo Glow Liquid Filter and the e.l.f. Camo CC Cream.
Both foundations offer full coverage, a natural-matte finish, and smooth and blur the skin to achieve that glowing, airbrushed effect Charlotte Tilbury is known for.
Why are Charlotte Tilbury products so popular?
Charlotte Tilbury is most loved for its flattering lipsticks, twinkling eyeshadows and blurring complexion products, not to mention its famed Charlotte Tilbury Advent calendar.
With high-quality formulas, universally flattering shades (hi, Pillow Talk) and celebrity endorsement by the likes of Kate Moss and Amal Clooney, it’s not hard to see why the brand is so popular.
Plus, Charlotte Tilbury herself is a renowned makeup artist with decades of experience in Hollywood glamour and red carpet beauty.
