Emmanuel Acho breaks silence after his Fox Sports show is axed along with Joy Taylor in major live TV shakeup

FOX Sports is shaking up its live TV roster, and Emmanuel Acho was one of the talents to be let go.

Fox is reportedly cutting three shows, one of those being Acho’s The Facility.

Acho was one of the members of Fox Sports’ The Facility[/caption]

The Facility only debuted last September, taking over from Skip BaylessUndisputed.

However, Fox is shaking things up again and Acho was part of that restructuring.

He spoke candidly about his release from Fox Sports on social media after the news broke.

“In sports, when you’re not good enough, you get cut,” Acho wrote.

“In TV, when you’re not good enough, you get cancelled.

“I’m not going to try and come to y’all with some ‘Big announcements soon. Stay tuned’ because I don’t actually know what’s coming.

“But what I do know is I trust God.”

Fox Sports fans offered words of encouragement for Acho, who is now a free agent in the sports TV world.

“I wish you well going forward!” one fan said.

“Stay blessed, no plans needed,” another fan said.

“Good luck Emmanuel,” a third fan said.

“I am sorry to hear the news. I know you will come out of this stronger than ever,” a fourth fan said.

Alongside the Facility, Breakfast Ball and Speak are also being removed from Fox’s lineup.

That leaves just The Herd with Colin Cowherd and First Things First in Fox Sports’ programming.

Among the talents who had shows cancelled were Craig Carton, Mark Schlereth, Danny Parkins, LeSean McCoy, Chase Daniel, James Jones, Paul Pierce, Michael Irvin, and Keyshawn Johnson.

Among the most high-profile names to lose their spot at Fox Sports was Joy Taylor.

Taylor joined Fox Sports in 2016, serving in a few roles before serving on Undisputed.

In 2018, she moved from Undisputed to The Herd With Colin Cowherd.

Eventually, Taylor was announced as the co-host of Speak in 2022.
