SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) – MUCH cooler today…
A cold front yesterday brought another round of severe weather, this time a lot of the strong wind and hail reports were in southcentral and southeast KELOLAND.
The cold front is through KELOLAND and now we’re dealing with much cooler air. Thick cloud cover, periods of rain, and northerly winds are not helping matters either. Highs will only be in the 60s and 70s today, with 50s being common in the Hills of western South Dakota.
Clouds will slowly thin as we go through the evening and overnight. Areas of fog will be possible late tonight into the early morning. Lows will fall to the 50s.
Tomorrow will be dry with partly sunny skies as temperatures warm to the 70s. Light winds will prevail.
Temperatures will warm for the weekend, we’ll also return to thicker humidity as dew point temperatures warm to the 60s. Next week is also looking hot and humid with highs in the 90s and dew points in the 70s. Scattered showers and storms will be possible this weekend and next week.
