Rock the Country: What to know if you go

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Before Kid Rock and Nickelback take the stage this weekend, there’s a few things attendees should know before they arrive to the fairgrounds.

The two-day festival will feature over a dozen bands, including the two headliners Nickelback and Kid Rock. Unlike other big events at the fairgrounds, this one is going to take place on the north side which is usually reserved for parking.

How to get there?

Parking passes are available on the event’s website and cost $40. Fairgrounds camping sites are also being sold on the event’s website.

You can also buy $20 parking passes to park at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center where shuttles will run from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. You can’t buy a parking pass inside the PREMIER Center.

Rideshare / drop offs: you are asked to use the PREMIER Center if using a rideshare app. Then you can take a free shuttle to the fairgrounds.

Kids under 2 are free and re-entry to the festival is not allowed.

How much are tickets?

Weekend general admission ticket prices are $149.99, while a Friday general admission is $99.99 and Saturday general admission is $109.99.

According to the event website, there’s a variety of weekend and VIP ticket packages. People can also pay for tickets in full or in low monthly payments with a low minimum payment of $12.

All the tickets will be delivered electronically, while wristbands are mailed for GA+ and VIP packages.
