A VETERAN NFL Network star has announced his sudden departure from the network.
The TV analyst has called it quits from his duties on various NFL Network shows, including Good Morning Football.

Former NFL executive Scott Pioli has left NFL Network after six years.
The three-time Super Bowl champion vice president joined the network in 2020.
Pioli worked as a “Front Office Analyst” and appeared on NFL Network’s NFL Total Access, NFL Now, and Good Morning Football Show, and others.
The former New England Patriots front office member announced the decision on social media on Thursday morning.
“It has been a wonderful 6-year/season run with [NFL Network]/ [NFL Media]/[Good Morning Football] and sadly it is coming to an end,” Pioli wrote on X.
“It was an incredible experience and there are so many people to thank – there just isn’t enough time/space!”
Pioli noted that he will still make occasional appearances as a guest and contributor on “different platforms and networks” while also hinting at a potential return to NFL Network.
The five-time Executive of the Year previously worked as an NFL analyst for NBC Sports’ Footall Night in America, NBC Sports Network’s Pro Football Talk, and Sirius XM NFL Radio.
“In 2019, I asked the bosses if I could spend more time discussing experiences, telling stories and elevating the game I love… to share ‘WHY’ people might be making decisions rather than blindly criticize,” Pioli wrote in his long X post.
“I told them, my goal was ‘to educate, not speculate’ through personal experiences – because, I certainly experienced a lot.
“… Again, thank you to all of my on-air and behind-the-scenes teammates… And Godspeed.”
During his executive days, Piolo is best known for his work with the Patriots.
He served as the director, and later vice president, of player personnel for the Patriots from 2001 to 2008.
New England won three Super Bowls during that span.

Pioli was then the general manager of the Kansas City Chiefs from 2009 to 2012.
He then worked with the Atlanta Falcons as an assistant general manager from 2014 to 2019.
The 60-year-old has returned to football, but not in the NFL.
Last month, Pioli accepted the role of a football consultant for the Iowa Hawkeyes program.
