FAMILY Dollar shoppers can claims free vouchers to spend in store as part of a “deceptive marketing” settlement.
All you have to do is fill in a form by the deadline – which is very soon.

The store has agreed to hand out the vouchers to settle claims that its Chestnut Hill coffee products were marketed incorrectly.
Class members allege that the packaging overestimated the number of cups that it was possible to brew from each product.
According to the class action lawsuit, the packs did not contain enough coffee grounds to brew the advertised number of cups.
It is claimed the incorrect marketing ran from 2019 to 2025.
The settlement vouchers could benefit anyone who bought Family Dollar propriety brand coffee grounds between January 1, 2019 and April 15, 2025.
Family Dollar is a discount retailer that sells a range of products – including grocery, household supplies, and personal care.
The company has not admitted any wrongdoing in the case – choosing to settle out of court.
Under the terms of the settlement, class members can receive a voucher for one 9.6-ounce container of Chestnut Hill ground coffee.
No proof of purchase is needed to claim your free coffee.
If a large number of claims are filed, the settlement administrator may reduce the value of each voucher.
Family Dollar is also required by the settlement to correct the labelling on its coffee products.
It will either remove the claims about how many cups can be brewed per package, or revise the language to show the estimates are based off verified lab tests.
The deadline to submit a claim form is Monday, July 21, 2025.
Meanwhile, millions of Americans are in line to receive a one-time payment worth up to $600.
The one-time checks will be landing in bank accounts and a $2.2 billion pot is funding the payments.
And, the initiative is set to benefit almost 3 million homeowners.
Payments on average will range from $350 to $600, but this only refers to the first tier of the relief program, according to the New York State.
The relief program is known as the School Tax Relief – STAR – and checks will be sent out across New York.
Americans who live in New York City, Buffalo and Syracuse may have already received their payment.
