The property is almost 1,300 square feet and sits on one full acre of property in Barnesville, Georgia.
On December 6, 2024, the official instagram account of the TLC hit show posted a photo of Liz and Brice standing with several real estate agents in an office with Brice holding a set of keys.
There was no caption, only the Blake Shelton song Home Sweet Home playing in the background.
Fans were beginning to worry that the family of three would never move out of the Johnstons’ large family compound in nearby Forsyth, Georgia
“Why did Liz move back home?” fans questioned each other on reddit.
But she did finally leave the nest.
Real estate listings for the property reveal it had originally been priced at $269,700, but the home was scooped up by Liz and Brice for $255,000.
Built in 2007, the immaculate and freshly painted white home with black trim looks like a perfect fit for the growing family.
It features an open living space or “great room” filled with natural light, a cozy modern kitchen with crisp white cupboards, dark granite tile back splash and lighter countertops, stainless steel appliances, light grey paint on the walls, with white trim on the baseboards which meet up with natural-looking flooring throughout.
There is even a fully finished ADU, or additional dwelling unit, on the property, wired for electricity, perfect for a man cave or she-shed.
Liz and Brice have both said on the show that they wanted to have a home with privacy and some land for their kids and pets to enjoy.
On May 26, the couple revealed they had gotten engaged by posting a photo at the beach with Liz showing off her diamond ring.
“I love you forever and always babe,” Brice wrote with the hashtag #weareengaged.
Brice currently has four years as a certified HVAC—heating, ventilation, and air conditioning repair and maintenance specialist, while Liz is in the health care industry working at several medical centers in the Macon and Forsyth area.
They appear to be fully on their way to having their own lives away from both of their parents.
The U.S. Sun was the first to reveal in January 2024, that Liz’s older sister Anna, 25, had purchased a home for $185,000 near her family in Forsyth.
Since then, Anna has been on the outs with her parents and has left many wondering if the hit TLC will go on, especially if she will not film scenes with them.
Now, the only children left at home are the Johnstons’ eldest son Jonah, 25, and his youngest siblings Emma, 20, and Alex, 19.
But perhaps Liz and Brice’s fairytale wedding will make for an exciting new season of the show.
