TJ Maxx’s beloved Yellow Tag Sale is officially under way with discounts of up to 75% or more, marking one of the retailer’s biggest deal events of the year.
Shoppers are racing to get their hands on the plethora of budget-friendly buys, such as a Badgley Mischka dress marked down to just $160.

TJ Maxx hosts a clearance event two times each year, generally in January and again in late June into early August.
The off-price retailer rolls out massive markdowns near the end of the clearance season as part of what is unofficially called the Yellow Tag Sale, denoting the discounts with yellow price stickers.
While red price tags represent a clearance price, the yellow stickers mark a final clearance price – the lowest price you will see for that item at TJ Maxx.
The popular Yellow Tag Sale is one of TJ Maxx’s biggest sales of the year, with the winter sale typically lasting two weeks and the summer one around six weeks.
This year’s summer event officially kicked off on Monday, July 21, according to an Instagram post by The Deals Guy.
Shoppers are spotting final markdowns up to 75% or more online and in-store across a number of categories, including clothing, homeware, beauty, and more.
For customers shopping in-store, there will likely be some clearance signs on aisles with a mix of both yellow and red tags.
Each TJ Maxx location will be different, with shoppers having to hunt for the yellow tags to score the best deals.
Customers can also access the retailer’s clearance deals on the TJ Maxx website, although yellow tag final clearance will not show, just the prices.
One of the budget buys currently on clearance is a Twist Drape Gown from the luxury fashion house Badgley Mischka, marked down from $199.99 to just $160.
Other notable picks include Leather Faye Heeled Sandals from Sandro, discounted from $99.99 to $54, or the $149.99 Lisetta Lace Mini Dress from Johnny Was, priced now at just $80.
TJ Maxx customers shopping the clearance event online can score free shipping on their first order when they sign up for TJ Maxx emails.
Otherwise, shipping is free on orders of $89 or more with the promo code SHIP89.

The shopping blogger shared a few things to keep in mind when you hit the TJ Maxx aisles for the summer clearance event going on now.
The fist thing she pointed out was that stores are likely to be more crowded than usual.
“Mine certainly was,” she said. “Be patient and be kind.”
The TJ Maxx fan also advised shoppers to not head into the store with anything too specific in mind.
“My store hadn’t even gotten around to marking down a lot of stuff yet,” she said. “On the first day, all the clearance markdowns were in the clothing section.”
The shopper also advised other fans to plan on going back a few times to score the best deals, calling the event “a bit of a treasure hunt.”
Shoppers can score other deals, including a $279 four-piece luggage set selling for under $100 at Walmart – fans rave it’s “boujee on a budget.”
Plus, Dollar Tree is selling a “nostalgic” fan favorite toy from the 90s for just $1.25 – it’s $32.99 at Walmart.
