The ESPN show accidentally aired a video from an entirely different season.

Molly Qerim was forced to apologize for the errors[/caption]
The Cowboys kicked off training camp on Monday, and there are some new faces on the team.
Notably, wide receiver George Pickens joined the team’s receiving corps after a trade from the Pittsburgh Steelers.
While discussing this, First Take aired a clip of who they thought was Pickens.
“During the team’s first play of training camp, we’ve got Dak Prescot able to find Pickens for a massive touchdown,” Molly Qerim said.
“Obviously a great way to start the day.”
ESPN quickly learned that the video clip wasn’t of Pickens.
In fact, the video didn’t even come from this season, it was a clip from 2023 training camp.
“Welcome back to First Take, quick cleanup on our part,” Qerim said.
“Earlier we showed a video that we identified as George Pickens at Cowboys training camp.
“It was no George so we apologize about that.”
Fans couldn’t believe First Take made such a glaring error, and shared their thoughts on social media.
“Shows that they’re a joke of a show,” one fan said.
“How is this possible???” another fan said.
“ESPN fall off is incredible,” a third fan said.
“Bro tricked first take,” a fourth fan said.

The original tweet came from an X account named FergSzn.
The poster took a video of Brandin Cooks from 2023 and passed it off as Pickens, which was seemingly enough for First Take to use it.
Even the original poster was baffled that their video got so much attention.
“WE GAVE WHO 12K LIKES AND 1M IMPRESSIONS OFF 2023 BRANDIN COOKS???” they posted.
