PATRICK Mahomes has vowed that the Kansas City Chiefs must get better following their Super Bowl loss.
Andy Reid‘s team missed out on what would have been a historic three-peat by losing to the Philadelphia Eagles in New Orleans.

Having returned to training camp this week, Chiefs stars are still bruised from the pain of being defeated in the Super Bowl.
But three-time champion Mahomes knows what his team must do to bounce back.
The 29-year-old was philosophical when discussing how the pain of defeat can act as a motivational tool.
“It kind of helps you out on some of those extra workouts that you don’t want to do,” the superstar quarterback admitted.
“It keeps that in your mind.”
Mahomes is crystal clear on the Chiefs’ need to improve on last year in order to contend again.
But the QB doesn’t want to just totally disregard what his squad achieved during the regular season and by reaching the Super Bowl.
“You always have to get better,” Mahomes vowed.
“That’s something that people lose track of when you have success.
We didn’t win that last game, but we had a lot of success last year.
“I think sometimes people want to be stagnant.
“They want to go out there and do it over again. We have to get better.”
Reid, meanwhile, was asked about what his message has been for his players this week.
The 67-year-old had a clear response.
