MALIK NABERS has claimed he can become the best receiver in the NFL.
The New York Giants star said: “I can be. I feel like I should be one of those top guys in a few years, if not next year.”

But fans were more concerned about an admission Nabers made about potentially undergoing toe surgery.
He said: “Decisions will be made when the time is right.
“Right now, I’m just focusing on locking in and getting ready for the season.
“There’s been talk about [surgery].
“[It] just never really came to complete thought in mind for me to do it.
“I’ve been managing it well. Everything has been going with the rehab.”
One fan replied: “Malik Nabers is shining in his second season, but toe surgery concerns are a red flag.
“Remember Julio and Davante? They played through similar issues but struggled.
“If he stays healthy, he could match OBJ’s back-to-back 1,100-yard seasons.”
But another put: “Giants already capping this dudes future. Just get him the surgery ASAP.”

Nabers has been delighted with the Giants’ acquisition of Super Bowl-winning quarterback Russell Wilson ahead of the new season.
He said: “‘He’s a great leader.
“He’s one of those quarterbacks that he gets everybody going, so we needed that in the huddle today.
“We kind of started off slow, but with Russ, with his leadership, we kind of picked things up at the end.”
The Giants were 3-14 in a dreadful season last term.
And their offense ranked 30 in yardage and 31 in points.
But Nabers is confident of a better outcome this term.
He said: “‘[Our offense is] Very explosive.
“We’ve got a lot of talent on our side of the football… Sky is the limit for us.”
