IT’S no secret the cost of basic household items have soared recently, leading many shoppers to opt for cheaper alternatives.
But you don’t need to compromise on quality, as this Dollar Tree fan discovered recently.

Liz Fenwick took to Facebook to share her money-saving trick, and it turns out she’s not the only one who swears by it.
In the viral social media clip, the savvy shopper shared some of the best Dollar Tree dupes – and they’re just as good as name brands.
First, Liz compared a box of Dishwasher packs from Dollar Tree with Cascade pods.
“This is pretty unreal,” she said as she laid each cleaning pod next to each other to properly compare.
Amazingly, both pods look almost identical, despite their price difference, which was enough to convince Liz to make the swap.
Next, Liz picked up a bottle of Brillo Dish Spray, which is reportedly a good dupe for Dawn PowerWash.
“If you don’t want to spend money on [Dawn Powerwash] get [Brillo Dish Spray] for $1.95,” she said.
Liz even put the Brillo spray to the test and was shocked by how well it cleaned her dished and left her stove sparkling.
And finally, the Dollar Tree fan urged anyone on a strict budget buy a dupe for Febreze fabric spray from the bargain store instead.
“This works exactly the same Febreze and this is a fresh lavender scent,” Liz explained as she used the Dollar Tree dupe to spritz her sofas.
It turns out others swear by the dupes as well, as many raved about their favorite buys in the comments of the clip.
One wrote: “I discovered those dishwasher packets about a month ago, they work great!”
“The Brillo is great! They always sell out fast,” a second said.
And a third chimed in: “The dishwasher pods work great for me!”
“Dollar Tree is my go to for cleaning products,” someone else noted.
But another had one issue they pointed out: “I love the Brillo soap it really smells good and works to but the sprayer on it towards the end is really messy needs to improve the sprayer.”
