While viewers have been enjoying the on-camera drama, behind-the-scenes has been just as action-packed.
The U.S. Sun can exclusively reveal salaries, long filming schedules and more off-camera drama.
A show source claimed to The U.S. Sun that salaries are dependent on how much content is filmed and aired.
The insider said, “You get paid by the episode and it varies on how many hours based on the production schedule and what they are filming that day.
“Interviews can be long or short depending on the topics.”
The source claimed reshoots are common, as “sometimes they will re-discuss the issue and talk about it again on the couch.
“I am sure they re-shoot conversations that have happened off-camera.”
When it comes to picking cast members for the spinoff, the show insider said, “They call and ask what is happening in their lives after the show. If they want you, they start a film schedule.”
Season 9 of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After stars Elizabeth Potthast and Andrei Castravet, Loren Goldstone and Alexei Brovarnik, Jovi Dufren and Yara Zaya, Gino Palazzolo and Jasmine Pineda, Darcey Silva and Georgi Rusev, Kara Bass and Guillermo Rojer, Brandon Gibbs and Julia Trubkina, and Tigerlily Taylor and Adnan Abdelfattah.
FAN BACKLASH
TLC has received backlash this season for choosing the same couples as previous seasons and “fake storylines” on the show.
One fan wrote on Instagram, “I’m going to pass on this season. They need to find new couples.”
A second commented, “Can they not find any more couples, they keep reusing the same ones? Not watching this season.”
A third fired, “I could’ve gone the rest of my life without Darcey being on 90 day again.”
A fourth said of Tigerlily and Adnan, “I just wanna know who asked for another season with these two on it?”
Another blasted, “The entire season is bs! Same old people, manufactured story lines to keep the money rolling in!”
SHOW FAKERY?
Couple Elizabeth and Andrei discuss their plans to move from Florida to his hometown of Moldova with their young children Eleanor and Winston on the show.
Elizabeth and Andrei purchased land in Zephyrhills, Florida for $397,900 in November 2021.
In 2022, the couple built a two-story, 3,670 square-foot home on the property with a total construction cost of $367,006.
The U.S. Sun previously confirmed the couple still owns the home and have not listed it, as they continue to live in Florida today.
On 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?, co-star Loren Brovarnik got into an argument with Andrei over the move and expressed her concern to Elizabeth.
On last week’s episode, the women discussed the move with Yara Zaya.
“We’re going to Moldova… We’re moving there,” Elizabeth told her friends.
Yara responded, “Why the f**k would you move to Moldova?”
Elizabeth replied, “It’s not overnight. I’m not just going to pick up and leave and stay there. We need to go scope it out, find a school… for three weeks, a month, whatever, and then I’ll see.
“I am more open to it. In the beginning, I told him absolutely not.”
Loren said, “I can see you moving abroad. I don’t think Moldova is the best. Doesn’t it worry you?”
Elizabeth responded, “Yeah, and it’s corrupt… I just feel like I kind of owe it to him. Do you ever feel bad that you essentially took Alex away?”
