LOVE Island USA star Cierra Ortega turned to social media to call out the Peacock series for ‘editing’ her scenes and the ‘strict’ rules.
Cierra, 25, starred on Season 7 of Love Island USA and was coupled up with Nic Vansteenberghe.

Cierra was kicked off the show a week before the finale after past racist posts resurfaced on social media.
She has now turned to social media and posted four videos to document her time on the series.
Cierra went through examples of how the show allegedly edited her scenes.
In one scene, she was dubbed a “mean girl” for ignoring Huda Mustafa while the two got ready for the night.
Cierra had just had an emotional conversation on the status of her relationship with Nic, 24.
Cierra explained of the moment, “She was asking me, ‘Do you want to talk about it?’ And I was ‘ignoring’ her. That didn’t happen that way.
“I didn’t ignore her. We had a whole moment where I didn’t speak but we hugged. We said a lot without words.
“The reason I wasn’t speaking was because I had just calmed myself down from crying. If I spoke again, I felt like I was going to cry.”
She explained the Stand On Your Business challenge lasted almost eight hours.
Cierra got backlash for the faces she made while Huda was receiving criticism from her co-stars, as she explained, “When I was making all of these ‘faces,’ it was definitely taken out of context.’
“I was not making those faces at the times that they were shown.
“It is really sad it was all taken that way.”
She denied “bullying” Huda.
‘STRICT’ RULES
In regards to the “strict” rules, she said the men and women were separated during lunch and dinner.
“You were never allowed to talk about anything that was happening inside the villa,” she explained.
She said of wearing a bathing suit every day, “So many days I woke up and did not want to put a bikini on.
“I was like, ‘Can we wear workout clothes?’ But they were like very strict. Like ‘No, girls, you have to get in bikinis and you have 30 minutes to get ready.’”
Cierra also said contestants only received four to five hours of sleep a night.

CIERRA’S JOURNEY
Cierra exited the villa during the Sunday, July 6 episode of Love Island USA.
This came after fans called for her to be kicked off the show when an Instagram Story from her account resurfaced on social media.
The post read, “Botox isn’t for everyone but I love it for me!!!
“I am incredibly expressive with my face and I catch myself frowning for no reason throughout the day when I’m focusing on something or thinking too hard lol.
“I can also be a little c****y when I laugh/smile so I love getting a mini brow lift to open up my eyes and get that snatched look.
“This is not me encouraging but more so sharing.”
She apologized in a video, as she said “I want to first start by addressing, not just anyone that I have hurt or deeply offended, but most importantly, the entire Asian community.
“I am deeply, truly, honestly, so sorry. I had no idea that the word held as much pain, as much harm, and came with the history that it did, or I never would have used it.
“I had no ill intention when I was using it. But that’s absolutely no excuse, because intent doesn’t excuse ignorance.”
A source previously told The U.S. Sun that Cierra attempted to apologize to avoid going home.
The production insider told The U.S. Sun, “We had to tell her to exit the show, as what happened would have created a lot of prejudice and it’s the kind of behavior that is simply unacceptable.
“She didn’t want to leave the show and tried to apologize for what she did. We decided that apologies aren’t enough for topics like this. She got upset when we told her that she had to leave the show as soon as possible.”
At first, Cierra “thought she could save her spot on the show.”
“It was never an option and we had to decide quickly and inform her so she could start getting ready to get out,” the source claimed. “Cierra was against leaving the show at first, and thought an apology would be enough, but it doesn’t work like this.
“She felt bad, she was very upset but we had to let her go, as we can’t have a bad image and allow people use such unacceptable words and racial slurs.”
NICOLANDRIA
On the show, Cierra’s love interest Nic, who she was coupled up with for most of the season, explored a connection with Olandria Carthen when she left the series.
Nic and Olandria made it to the finale, as he said in his final speech to her, “How many signs did we miss along the way? I think the beautiful part of our relationship stemmed from missing these signs.
“We began this journey deeply involved with the other connections, but I always was your secret admirer.”
The two came in second place.
Amaya Espinal and Bryan Arenales were voted the winners of Love Island USA season 7.
Nic and Olandria have continued their relationship outside of the villa.

CIERRA’S FURY
Cierra spoke out about her show best friend dating her ex in an Instagram video earlier this month.
While Cierra accessorized, text above her read, “‘You look happier!’
‘Thanks, I booked a flight to Mykonos after surviving the villain edit on reality tv and I didn’t end up with the guy who never actually liked me and wanted my friend the entire time.’”
Nic appeared on Chicks in the Office podcast and explained that he hasn’t spoken to Cierra since leaving the villa.
He said of his current relationship with her, “I am still taking the time to process everything I’ve been seeing.”
