CARRIE Underwood has been part of a massive NBC announcement as the network gets ready for the upcoming 2025-26 NFL season.

Underwood has performed the musical introduction of Sunday Night Football for more than a decade.
The country singer’s “waiting all day for Sunday night” has been a legendary part of each NFL season.
And fans can enjoy Underwood’s voice for yet another campaign.
On Wednesday, NBC announced that Underwood would return for the 13th consecutive season to sing the SNF opening intro.
The network revealed that Underwood’s new open was performed at The Resorts World Theatre in Las Vegas.
“For the 20th season of SNF, we wanted to set the tone for the night by reimagining the anthem sound in a way that plays to Carrie’s powerhouse vocals, while visually creating a seamless blend of stylized shots and behind-the-scenes moments evoking the national roadshow that is Sunday Night Football, week after week in the fall,” Tripp Dixon, creative director of the SNF show open for each of the past 13 years, said in a statement.
Underwood shared her reaction to being part of the 13th season with NBC.
“We had a blast shooting the new opening at The Resorts World Theatre again,” she said, per NBC.
“As always, Tripp and the creative team continue to raise the bar, bringing the high energy and stunning visuals that the Sunday Night Football audience has come to expect year after year.
“I can’t wait for the world to see it!”

Fans can hear her new opening number on Sunday, September 7.
The Baltimore Ravens will take on the Buffalo Bills in Week 1 on that night.
