KFC is bringing back its crispy potato wedges to restaurants nationwide.
The wedges were discontinued back in 2020, and fans have been pleading for their return ever since.
A petition to bring the wedges back even reached more than 4,800 signatures and counting.
Fans will know KFC‘s potato wedges as being crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
The wedges are served as a side dish at KFC, giving potato lovers something with a little more oomph than regular fry.
A post on Facebook confirmed that the wedges are coming back for a tentative date of August 18.
The caption of the post said: “Sound the horn, KFC is bringing the Potato Wedges Back!
“An employee leaked the news. Soft launch August 11th. Tentative nationwide launch August 18th!
“The wedges were discontinued in 2020 and recently test marketed in some Florida towns.”
This is referring to an initial return in March of this year, which only saw the wedges return to a handful of places.
