THE VALLEY star Jax Taylor’s bar staffers are feeling ‘relieved’ that he’s stepping away after creating a ‘chaotic’ work environment, The U.S. Sun can reveal.
Jax’s behavior over the past year, including admitting to physical violence against his wife, Brittany Cartwright, has also created a “dark cloud” over the brand’s reputation.

Following the news that Jax, 46, is leaving The Valley to focus on his own health and sobriety, he also announced that he was walking away from his Los Angeles bar.
Multiple staffers of Jax’s Studio City have told The U.S. Sun that it’s a “relief” to “no longer be associated” with his behavior.
“It’s was becoming mortifying to say ‘Oh yeah I work at Jax’s bar’ after things were getting so dark so to not have to be tied to him anymore is a relief.
“It’s been a whirlwind and so much more drama than it needed to be so hopefully things calm down now.
“Jax tried to be nice enough [to staffers] but he always brought chaotic energy anytime he stopped by,” they claimed.
The insider added that Jax “tried to be nice to people and the staff,” but often, he was heard “putting his foot in his mouth” and other times “he would just ignore the workers.”
“He just wanted to spend so much time [at the bar] to be recognized and mingle with fans, it made him feel important.”
Another staffer added that the Vanderpump Rules alum exiting the business will be a “good thing” moving forward.

“Jax’s antics and that dark cloud just brought the bar down. We were all excited about his involvement at the beginning and excited for what he’d bring to the table.
“But he wasn’t able to keep it together, so good riddance. I do think the place is better off without him,” they said.
The bar worker also explained: “It was a bit of a surprise. We found out about it with his social media announcement, it all happened quickly.”
The U.S. Sun has reached out to reps for Jax and the bar for comment.
Earlier this week, Jax revealed that as he battles issues with addiction and other mental health struggles, he would be walking away from the bar he proudly slapped his name on two years ago.
“I’ve made the decision to end my partnership with Jax’s. It wasn’t an easy decision, but it was the right one.
“Right now, my focus is on my sobriety and mental health, and staying connected to my bar is no longer in line with the priorities I’ve set for myself and the life I’m working towards,” he wrote on Instagram.
On Thursday, Jax shared a follow-up message to the staff, writing: “To the incredible team at Jax’s Studio City- What we’ve built over the past two years wasn’t just a bar.
“It was something far bigger – a place full of memories, laughter, and community. Thank you to each of you.
“For your hard work, putting up with me through the highs and lows, and showing up every day to make everyone feel welcome.
“You made this place what it is, and I can’t thank you enough,” he wrote.

Jax losing his TV show, getting his podcast tour shut down, and being booted from his bar comes after he admitted to throwing furniture at the mother of his child, Brittany, in a fit of rage while their son Cruz, 4, was in the room next door.
The Bravo star’s actions left Brittany’s legs “black and blue” with bruises, she claimed – which he later confirmed.
Additionally, Jax has admitted to being addicted to cocaine, secretly planting recording devices in Brittany’s home to spy on her and sending constant “rage texts” from rehab.
