Quarterback Ty Simpson, 22, opted for a screen play with less than a minute remaining of the first half.
They were lined up 13 yards away from the Georgia end zone on first down.
Simpson flung the ball sideways to offensive tackle Kadyn Proctor, 20.
Proctor then barrelled down the left touchline.
It took eight Bulldogs players to shove the offensive tackle out of bounds.
He fell just short of the end zone, knocking over the pylon as he tumbled.
Alabama were rewarded with another first down.
This innovation has shocked fans, who have taken to social media to praise the Crimson Tide.
“Kadyn Proctor screen got me out of my seat,” one fan wrote.
“That’s so terrifying man,” another commented.
Proctor won the Anthony Muñoz Award in 2022 as the nation’s best high school offensive lineman.
After initially committing to Iowa, Proctor flipped to join Alabama ahead of the 2023 season.
The lineman was named as a Freshman All-American for the 2023 season.
He spent one year with the Crimson Tide before joining his original commitment, Iowa.
Proctor was named in the All-SEC second team for the 2024 campaign.
Despite flipping to Iowa for 2024, he has returned to Alabama for the current season.
His size has been a big talking point throughout his college football career.
“Felt like I was watching rugby,” one fan added.
“Big men are underutilized. Many are far better athletes than the skill guys,” another reacted.
Proctor stands at 6’7″ tall and weighs an incredible 365 lbs.
