The gadget promises to have an adjustable angle, three speed levels and seven fan blades.
Charging requires a standard USB Type-C cable.
One savvy shopper took to Facebook to share their find: “I’m a dog walker so I wanted to try this neck fan for the summer. I love it.
“Didn’t know it was rechargeable, has x3 speeds and a changing light colors.”
The shopper’s post was accompanied with a picture of a glowing purple neck fan.
In response, one user commented: “I’ve had one for years loved it so much brought more.”
“These are life savers during hurricane season,” wrote a second.
A less impressed user wrote: “No way… My hair would get caught in there somehow… That’s just trouble waiting to happen.”
Others also shared their confusion over how the neck fans are supposed to be worn.
The shopper who initially made the post clarified that the gadget is flexible.
She explained it hangs comfortably on the back of her neck, with the fans sitting on her collar bone, but pointed upwards towards her face.
It comes as Aldi recently announced sales of up to 33 percent off for over 400 items.
The price cut starts on June 5 and runs through to Labor Day.
Aldi chief commercial officer Scott Patton told USA Today: “Summer’s for grilling out, camping, concerts, and quality time with friends and family – not stressing over grocery bills.
“That’s why we decided to offer even lower prices on ALDI favorites all summer long.
“Our unique business model with smaller store footprints, 90% private brands and strong supplier partnerships means we can deliver real savings where other grocers can’t.”
Aldi is a German multinational discount chain with over 2,500 stores across the United States – 254 of which are located in Florida alone.
