The item that is being recalled is a cotton candy maker and it was sold at Aldi.

More than 20,000 units have been recalled, according to US safety chiefs.

The item was sold at supermarkets across the US between August and September 2024 for $15.

Shoppers can get their money back, but must follow a series of steps before doing so.

First, they should stop using the item and contact either Aldi or the manufacturer, Wuensche.

Then, they must take the cotton candy machine to their local supermarket.

Shoppers can get their money back without venturing outside.

They contact Wuensche bosses by email but they must send a photo of the machine that clearly displays its model number and date code.
