Aldi’s $3.49 middle aisle find is the perfect Halloween table accessory and it’s $32 cheaper than Anthropologie

SHOPPERS are buzzing about Aldi’s latest middle aisle find that looks nearly identical to a Halloween table accessory from Anthropologie.

A spooky serpent taper set of candles is retailing for only $3.49 at the budget supermarket – costing an incredible $32 cheaper than the original.

Aldi launched its own dupe for the candles, but they cost a fraction of the price at just $3.49[/caption]

Anthropologie’s luxe version comes in black or gold, with two hand-poured paraffin wax blend tapers per set, each boasting a seven-hour burn time.

Elegant, yes — but at $36, they’re definitely a splurge.

Aldi‘s Kirkton House Taper Candle Serpent is giving Anthropologie’s best-seller some serious competition.

The dupe features tall back taper candles wrapped in a shimmering gold snake that coils up the length of the candle.

The serpent’s mouth is tilted toward the flame, giving the illusion that it’s either about to strike—or that it’s the one breathing fire.

At $3.49 per set, they’re cheap enough to grab multiple packs so you can actually light them without guilt.

But Aldi didn’t stop at snakes.

The grocer is also releasing a bone-inspired taper candle that’s a little more understated but still eerie.

Cast in crisp white, this design mimics the look of finger bones, making it a striking choice for anyone who wants their Halloween décor to feel a little more spooky.

At the same price as the serpent version, it’s affordable enough to stock up and fill an entire candelabra with them.

Aldi is also offering a mummy taper, designed as a tall, skinny figure swathed in detailed white bandages.

It’s the perfect subtle nod to Halloween that won’t overwhelm a dining table display but will catch the eye of any guest.

And finally, there’s the golden skulls candle, a brass-toned taper that looks like a towering stack of skulls.

It’s creepy and glamorous in equal measure, ideal for anyone who wants their Halloween table to lean more gothic than horror.

Aldi’s Halloween taper collection lands the week of September 17, and if past seasonal launches are anything to go by, you’ll want to grab them fast.

Spooky season finds

Aldi’s Halloween range is stacked with festive décor beyond just candles.

One playful pick is the set of reusable Halloween Gel Clings, perfect for sticking on windows and mirrors to set a spooky scene.

The retailer’s famous weekly specials often spotlight seasonal collections, and this year’s Halloween drop spans 11 categories of decorations.

Among the standouts is the Halloween Garland, retailing for $5.99.

Shoppers can choose from Boo Ghosts, Witch Ghosts, Gunmetal Skeletons, or Skeleton designs.

Each garland measures 72 inches, runs on two AA batteries (sold separately), and features a handy six-hour timer.

They’re suitable for indoor use or covered outdoor spaces.

For something larger, Aldi is rolling out Hanging Ghosts at $7.99 each.

These three-foot light-up figures come pre-assembled and ready to display, with designs including a boo sign ghost, a bat bow ghost, and a classic LED ghost.

And if you’re looking to go big, Aldi’s LED Ghosts set is hitting shelves for $29.99—making it the showstopper piece in the collection.
