AN ALDI viral Le Creuset dupe is back – and an impressive $273 cheaper than its posher counterpart.
Bread lovers have raved about this fancy – and versatile – kitchen tool.

The discount supermarket chain is offering a $26.99 dupe of a Le Creuset bread oven.
The premium French brand’s enamelled cast iron version is currently advertised for $299.95.
So you can save $272.96 by heading to Aldi.
But you’ll have to be quick, as the Crofton cast iron bread dome is an Aldi Find.
Although it is scheduled to be available in Aldi stores from today, September 17, sales are likely to soar, warned the Aldi Reviewer.
The website explained that it will only be available in stores for a short time.
Each store has received one shipment, and after those have sold out, “it’s gone unless Aldi decides to bring it back at some later point.”
And it appears that the chain’s dupe has previously proved a huge success, according to positive reviews in 2024 and 2023.
When it hit Aldi’s shelves last year, Simply Recipes hailed it as a “game-changer.”
Its reviewer said she had long hoped to buy a fancy bread oven, but was put off by the steep price of Le Creuset’s products.
She raved, “The Crofton bread dome is made from heavy-duty enameled cast iron, just like its pricier counterpart, which means it retains heat exceptionally well.
“Its design helps to create a perfect steam-filled environment that bread dreams are made of.”
She first baked her “favorite sesame and semolina loaf shortly after bringing it home, then tested a loaf of no-knead bread the following day.
“Each time I lifted the lid, I was greeted with a deeply golden, delightfully crunchy crust and a spongy crumb with the perfect chew.”
The only downside, she added, was that Aldi’s version isn’t available in a “rainbow of colors.”
The 2025 bread domes are being sold in either cream or navy.
However, “like any enameled cast iron cookware, it’s easier to keep clean.”
How a cast iron bread oven works

They are used for making rustic loaves of bread in the comfort of your own home
You place bread dough inside the cast iron bread dome, which you then put inside your conventional oven.
The steam inside the bread oven helps to produce a nice tall loaf with a thin and shiny crust.
The cast iron bread oven is specially designed for baking bread, with a shallow lower pan and a taller lid.
Its heavy lid helps to trap steam inside the bread dome, which produces a better loaf.

Le Creuset’s 9.5″ Chambray enameled cast iron bread oven is made in France, and its lid is topped with a stainless steel knob with gold finish.
The luxurious brand caught the eye of many a royal fan while watching Netflix show, With Love, Meghan.
The Duchess of Sussex was seen repeatedly using the expensive cooking items.
Aldi’s dupe of Le Creuset’s bread oven comes days after the discount retailer released budget versions of other kitchen products made by the famous brand.
These included a version of the round Dutch oven for just $30, and a cast iron grill pan at only $20, shaving $205 off the Le Creuset price.
