ALEC Baldwin’s daughter, Ireland, gifted her father a pig-shaped BBQ grill as a reminder about a scathing voicemail he left her over two decades ago.
The unique present was revealed in a recent New York Times article highlighting the actor and his wife, Hilaria Baldwin.

Alec, 67, spoke about the Father’s Day gift he received from his 29-year-old daughter a few years earlier and shared a picture of the pink pellet grill kept in the family’s backyard.
The 30 Rock star explained that the gift was a silly reference to a voicemail he left for Ireland in 2007 when she was just a pre-teen.
At the time, Alec was in the midst of a messy divorce and custody war with Ireland’s mother, Kim Basinger, 71.
A particularly tense moment happened when Alec got upset with his daughter for missing a scheduled phone call.
In response, he called her a “rude, thoughtless, little pig,” which he later apologized for and made amends.
OLD WOUNDS
However, Alec revealed Ireland hasn’t let him forget the incident and bought him the kid-like grill so they could laugh about it together.
“My daughter, Ireland, has a great sense of humor, and she sent me that to commemorate some unusual moment we had together,” the Beetlejuice star told the outlet.
He noted that he usually stored the grill in a playhouse on his Hamptons, New York, farmhouse, but recently took it out during a visit with his daughter.
“A couple of weeks ago, Ireland, her husband, and her daughter came to visit. Hilaria and Ireland have a similar sense of humor, which is at my expense pretty uniformly. So, we brought it out and cooked on it,” Alec recalled.
The Rust actor previously laughed about the voicemail while discussing it on Good Morning America, saying it was “thrown in [my] face every day.”
“It’s a scab that never heals ’cause it’s being picked at all the time by other people. My daughter, that’s hurt her in a permanent way,” he shared.
Ireland is all grown up now, with her own daughter, a two-year-old named Holland, with her partner André Allen Anjos.
Meanwhile, in addition to Ireland, Alec has seven younger children with his wife, Hilaria: Carmen, Rafael, Leonardo, Romeo, Eduardo, María Lucía, and Ilaria.
NEW ENDEAVORS
Fans got a glimpse inside Alec and Hilaria’s lives with their kids on their reality series, The Baldwins, which ran for one season on TLC earlier this year.
Hilaria has also shared more from behind the scenes, including their, at one point, rocky marriage, and how they dealt with the aftermath of the Rust shooting, in her recently released memoir Manual Not Included.
It is suspected that Alec will be rooting for Hilaria with her latest endeavor, as a contestant on Season 34 of Dancing with the Stars.
It was announced on Wednesday that Hilaria had officially joined the cast, and she’s already been showing off her dance moves with her partner, Gleb Savchenko.
DWTS premieres on September 16 at 8:00 p.m. EST on ABC and Disney+.
