This is the streaming platform’s fourth season as the rights holder for the NFL‘s Thursday night slot.
Regulars Al Michaels and Kirk Herbstreit are set to return as the commentary team.
Each year, Amazon has worked to introduce innovative new features.
This time around, viewers will be able to see a “Pressure Alert” gauge.
The feature will show fans the unguarded pass rusher that could attempt a quarterback hit.
Amazon’s “Pressure Alert” gauge was already used in their Prime Vision alt-cast.
Prime Vision has been using artificial intelligence to provide live data to fans.
Analytics expert Sam Schwartzstein mans the program in order to deliver detailed analysis to fans.
While the higher camera angle provides more of a tactical view of the game.
The “Pressure Alert” gauge moving from Prime Vision to the main feed featuring Michaels and Herbstreit is an interesting development.
And more new features are set for Prime Vision this season.
These include a metric that will predict how many possessions remain in a game.
The feature will take into account the time remaining, plus timeouts that both teams still possess.
Veteran Michaels, 80, is in his 40th season calling the NFL.
In addition to Prime Video, the New Yorker has worked for NBC Sports, ABC Sports and CBS Sports.

“I talk to all of the people that I need to talk to, read everything I need to read. We’ve got some great research people as well.
“I have a great spotter in ‘Malibu’ Kelly Hayes, who’s been with me for a million years, as well as my statistician, George Hill.
“It’s a combination of working together with these people in addition to studying tapes, talking to my sources around the league, etc. I treat a preseason game this way. I owe it to the audience.
“I don’t get nervous because I know I’m prepared. If I wasn’t prepared, I would be very nervous.”
