AMERICAN Pickers fans have spotted reality TV “fakery” on Robbie Wolfe and Jon “Jersey” Szalay’s drive in a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment.
On an American Pickers episode, Robbie and Jersey travel to a collector’s home to pick through his stockpile of antiques.

The two were filmed in the same van on the show[/caption]
During the drive there, Robbie and Jersey chat with Danielle Colby, who gives them details on the collector and his antiques.
The two drive in a van with the Antique Archaeology logo on the side.
Viewers could see Robbie jump out of the van when they get to their destination.
But when Jersey got out of the van, he appeared to be getting out of a box truck, a different vehicle than Robbie.
Eagle-eyed fans noticed the editing faux pas, as one commented on the Facebook clip, “They got out of two different vans but were riding in the same van.”
A second said, “The passenger got out of a Chevy express van. Rob got out of the Mercedes. But they were both riding in the Mercedes. I know it’s planned. Poor planning.”
A third blasted, “Fake show.”

RATINGS STRUGGLE
The show backlash comes as ratings for Season 27 have struggled.
The July 2 season premiere brought in the lowest ratings of all time with 390,000 viewers.
The July 9 episode did better with 536,000 fans watching.
The U.S. Sun can exclusively reveal ratings continued to climb for the July 16 show with 594,000 viewers.
This is a major drop from the season 26 finale, which saw 708,000 viewers.
The most-watched episode for season 26 reached 760,000 on December 18.
SHOW FAKERY
This isn’t the first time the show has been accused of faking scenes.
A source previously told The U.S. Sun when filming for the show takes place, the shop’s doors are actually closed.
The insider said of the Nashville location, “Whenever they film, it’s early in the morning and it might be an hour or two before they open, often times they open late.”
On the show, Danielle is often seen in the Iowa store as she gives Mike and his co-stars their next picking location.
The insider said, “She comes less frequently out of everyone, but she still makes her way up here. She’s a full-time picker now so she’s always on the road.”
As for Mike, the source said he comes in the store “the most frequently,” at least one to two times a month.
The insider also previously claimed the stores hide their Antique Archaeology merchandise during filming.
The source claimed, “The logo for Antique Archaeology can’t be on the show because of American Pickers.
“All of the merchandise goes off the floor. The staff has to pick it all up and put it back where it goes.”
FILMING BREAK
Fans are appreciating the new episodes, as the show will go on its longest filming break yet.
In an interview with People, Mike said, “For 15 years, we have just been going and going and going. I think we’re going to have at least four or five months off, so it’s going to be good.”
The insider told The U.S. Sun of the break, “He’s got a couple of things he’s doing. He’s coming out with a show at the end of the year. He’s opening up a second vacation rental.
“He’s going to stay picking. He’s just trying to slow it down and get a little bit more time for family. His daughter just turned 13. He’s like, ‘I want to be involved with my teenager!’”
Mike shares daughter Charlie with his ex-wife Jodi.
A second source told The U.S. Sun of the time off, “He wants to focus on family. He’s stretching himself too thin. He’s 60, he wants to slow down and spend time with his daughter. He has a lot going on.
“The show is not ending.”
NEW VENTURES
Mike, 60, shut down his Nashville, Tennessee store Antique Archaeology in April.
He wrote in an Instagram post on Friday, April 18, “Sometimes, even when something is good, you have to pause and ask yourself where your time is going — and where your heart is calling you next.”
Mike was there to see the store off, as he took photos with customers.
Mike Wolfe’s businesses

Mike Wolfe has created a business empire featuring real estate, antique stores, and more.
OTHER PROJECTS
Mike will host History’s Greatest Picks, which he explained to People, “I’m going to introduce a story and a piece. They’re going to cut to some archival footage, maybe even a little bit of reenactment.
“In one hour, we’re going to cover four different stories, so it is about picking.”
Outside of picking antiques, Mike is the owner of multiple businesses and landlord of properties in Iowa and Tennessee.
The Iowa antique store is across the street from his new vacation rental Two Lanes Guesthouse and blocks away from properties he owns.
The vacation rental is now available for rent after a months-long delay.
He also has a vacation rental in Columbia, Tennessee.
The rental is down the block from his bike shop Columbia Motor Alley and other properties he manages.
