Andy Reid breaks down in tears in unseen footage after Kansas City Chiefs’ brutal Super Bowl loss to Philadelphia Eagles

Reid, 67, took the brutal loss hard despite already boasting three Super Bowl titles under his belt.

The coach would have felt the disappointment as he was unable to lead the team to a historic win.

If the Chiefs had won the match, they would have become the first team in history to win three Super Bowls back-to-back.

However, it was not to be as Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and co fell short.

A new documentary is being released called “The Kingdom” which delves into the Chief’s pursuit of the three-peat.

In the trailer, Reid is featured very briefly, as he is lost for words and can be seen welling up.

Eagles fans are excited to watch the documentary, but many are looking forward to the final episode.

One posted: “I’ll just wait for the last episode. Go Birds!”

A second wrote: “Can’t wait to see the behind-the-scenes version of their epic fail.”

A third commented: “Us Eagle fans are fast forwarding to the end.”

A fourth said: “Only interested in the final episode.”

A fifth joked: “LOL….Eagles fans are getting their Popcorn ready baby.”

Another added: “Episode 6 gonna go crazy.”

The documentary is a six-part series by ESPN which will focus on the building of the “modern-day football dynasty”.

Reid has previously spoken about the devastating loss

He said: “It was a bad day to have a bad day — for sure. Like all games, you can learn some things from it.

“It hurts for a few days and then you move on quickly. You get about three days into it, and you mope around a little bit.

“Then, all of a sudden, you’re onto free agency and you’re doing your thing.”

The Chiefs will begin their 2025 NFL campaign on Thursday, September 5, when they travel to face the Los Angeles Chargers.

Then on September 14, they will host the Eagles in a chance to exact revenge on them for the Super Bowl heartbreak.

Meanwhile, Reid has revealed THREE stars have suffered major injuries during the Chiefs’ training camp.

He confirmed Jawaan Taylor, Kristian Fulton and Tre Watson will start camp on the physically unable to perform list.
