THE Kansas City Chiefs welcomed a motivational speaker who used to be a crime boss to their facility.
Andy Reid’s players were given a speech by Damon West at their training camp.

Kelce had a role in Happy Gilmore 2, which was released last week[/caption]
West played quarterback in college at the University of North Texas before suffering a career-ending injury.
He became addicted to meth to deal with the setback.
And the former quarterback served over seven years in prison for his role in a crime ring.
West was the mastermind of an organized crime group.
He stole from people to carry on feeding his drug addiction.
And it led to him being sentenced to 65 years in prison.
West is still on parole until 2073 but managed to turn his life around in prison.
The bio on his website states, “After a fateful discussion during his incarceration with a seasoned convict, Damon had a spiritual awakening.
“He learned that, like a coffee bean changing with the application of heat and pressure, he was capable of changing the environment around him.
“Armed with a program of recovery, a renewed faith, and a miraculous second chance at life, Damon emerged from over seven years of prison a changed man.
“His story of redemption, grit and determination continues to inspire audiences today.”
West is now a global speaker and has more than 379,000 followers on Instagram.
And the ex-quarterback is also a three-time bestselling author.
He shared a photo of his trip to the Chiefs last week.
West posed with quarterback Patrick Mahomes, head coach Andy Reid and tight end Travis Kelce.
The former college player also revealed he stuck around for a screening of Happy Gilmore 2.
The new movie was released Friday and stars Kelce.
West wrote on Instagram, “Thank you, Coach Reid, for the invitation to share the coffee bean message with the Kansas City Chiefs.
“You blew my mind after the presentation by allowing me to sit in (next to you) on the offensive install meeting.
“However, watching Happy Gilmore 2 with Pat, Travis, and the whole team is something I’ll never forget.”
