THE Kansas City Chiefs have lost a former first round NFL Draft pick for the season in a massive setback.
Head coach Andy Reid announced the devastating blow just weeks before the new campaign.

Andy Reid confirmed he will be out for some time[/caption]
Defensive end Felix Anudike-Uzomah was selected in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft.
He was taken No. 31 overall out of Kansas State, where he was a first-team All-American.
The 23-year-old helped the Chiefs win Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas, Nevada.
And he played in all 17 games in both his first two seasons with the team.
But the pass rusher is set to miss the entire season, according to NFL Network reporter Ian Rapoport.
Anudike-Uzomah suffered an injury in a preseason game against the Seattle Seahawks last Friday.
The 23-year-old was helped from the field by athletic trainers.
He was placed on the injured-reserve list with a hamstring injury this week
And head coach Reid addressed the injury setback.
“Yeah, that’s a tough thing,” Reid said.
“I mean, he’s worked hard, so we’ll see where it goes.
“I can’t tell you how long it’s going to be, but any time for that is disappointing for him.
“I know because he works so stinking hard.”
Kansas City begins the season with a game against the Los Angeles Chargers in Brazil on September 5.
The Chiefs are looking to reach a fourth straight Super Bowl.
