ANDY Reid shared that Travis Kelce has been upset over his load management during the first four games of the Kansas City Chiefs’ season.
The Chiefs‘ head coach opened up on the team’s mindset when it comes to Kelce’s playing time.

Kelce has found things tough production-wise in the first four weeks of the season.
But the 35-year-old’s poor showings have now led to fewer snaps.
During the Chiefs’ Sunday win over the Baltimore Ravens, Kelce played on 66 percent of offensive snaps – the lowest for him yet in 2025.
Kelce was at least 72 percent of snaps in each of the first three games.
After the Week 4 game, Andy Reid was asked about load management with Kelce and whether that amount of snaps was where the team believes the 10-time Pro Bowler will continue to receive.
“That’s probably a good area,” Reid answered.
Kelce’s snap percentage has seen a decrease since Week 1 (83.6, 76.7, 73.6, 65.8).
The future Hall of Famer hasn’t been impressive as a pass-catcher, as he’s recorded 15 receptions and 182 yards for one touchdown in four games.
While Reid wants Kelce to be on the field, he also understands that keeping him fresh can make him a contributor.
“I thought he played well in both the run and the pass game,” Reid said about Kelce’s showing in a five-catch effort versus the Ravens.
“I thought he looked strong all the way through.
“He’s in great shape right now.
“That’s the important part.
“He came back and trained hard and aggressive for this thing.”

With Kelce being on the bench, Noah Gray has gotten more looks on the field.
He played in 56 percent of the snaps last weekend.
Kelce is also coming off a disappointing season by his standards, posting 97 receptions for 823 yards and three touchdowns.
Nonetheless, the Chiefs are still expecting to see Patrick Mahomes get a better connection with his reliable target, Kelce, while keeping the tight end ready for a potential postseason run.
