ANGEL Reese could be facing WNBA punishment soon after her Chicago Sky squad’s blowout loss to the Minnesota Lynx on Tuesday night.
Reese is inching towards receiving a WNBA suspension after her first game back from an injury.

Reese was unable to play in the Sky’s final game before the All-Star break with a leg injury.
The 23-year-old was able to play in last weekend’s All-Star Game and Tuesday’s game since the injury.
But Reese has now turned heads with a sequence during the first quarter.
She was given a technical foul, her seventh of the season.
One more technical foul would result in Reese receiving a suspension, according to WNBA rules.
Reese appeared to pick up the technical after being assessed a common foul due to an off-camera conversation with referees.
The Sky went on to lose 91-68 to the 21-4 Lynx.
Reese posted her league-leading 16th double-double of the season as she tallied 11 points and 11 rebounds.
But she also had nine turnovers.
And Reese now leads the WNBA in technicals – two more than the next-closest player, Washington Mystics’ Shakira Austin (five).
She got her first technical foul of the season in the season opener versus the Indiana Fever and her rival, Caitlin Clark.
The LSU product then posted technical fouls against the New York Liberty on May 22, the Dallas Wings on May 32, the Connecticut Sun on June 15, the Los Angeles Sparks on June 29, and the Mystics on July 8.
The WNBA automatically suspended players after their seventh technical foul up until this season, before increasing the number to eight after the shift from a 40-game schedule to a 44-game schedule.
If Reese records an eighth technical and gets suspended, she will not receive her game check for that game.

She has recorded a career-high 13.8 points and 3.7 assists per game in 2025 for the Sky.
Reese’s 12.5 rebounds per appearance are also the best mark in the WNBA for the second campaign in a row.
But the Sky still has a disappointing 7-16 record, which is the second-worst mark in the league.
Reese hopes not to pick up her eighth technical foul when the Sky face the Seattle Storm at Wintrust Arena in Chicago on Thursday night.
