SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A Sioux Falls Animal Control officer is hurt after a rollover crash this evening.
The crash happened on East 57th Street and South Cliff Avenue at about 8 p.m.
You can see the animal control vehicle on its side.
A sergeant with the Sioux Falls Police Department tells us a Toyota sedan was traveling eastbound when it ran a red light and hit a city animal control truck traveling north.
The sergeant says there were no serious injuries and the driver of the sedan was arrested on a DUI charge.
He says there was also a small dog in the animal control vehicle who got out unharmed.
