Niharika Chouksey who is seen in the lead role of Anu in Studio LSD’s show on Zee TV, Tumm Se Tumm Tak, is happy with her role and even confesses that playing the character is not very challenging for her.
Talking about her character, she says, “Anu is a very sweet, innocent girl who wins hearts with her simplicity. She is naive in some ways, but also incredibly strong. She always stands up for what is right. There is a scene where she argues with an auto driver over two rupees—not because she is miserly, but because she values money deeply, having seen her parents struggle. When she enters Arya Vardhan Sir’s life, she brings light and helps him truly live again.”
Ask her how different playing Anu is from the roles she has played before, she avers, “Compared to my previous roles—like the bold and outspoken girl I played in Faltu or the more balanced character in Aaina—Roop Nahin, Haqeeqat Bhi Dikhaye—Anu is very different. She is loveable, grounded, and driven by a strong emotional core.”
“Honestly, I didn’t have to prepare much because Anu and I are quite similar. There are just a couple of differences between us. For instance, Anu values even a small amount like two rupees—that is something I am learning too. Like her, I am very emotional. I believe that when you live a character every day, it becomes a part of your life, and you grow through it,” she adds.
Niharika is sure that the audience will relate to her because of how she is. She said, “I think viewers will connect with Anu’s purity, her strength wrapped in innocence, and her ability to stand up for what is right even in the smallest of matters. She brings heart and healing to the story, and I feel many people will see a part of themselves in her or wish to be like her.”
Best of luck!!
