GADGET fans can get their hands on a brand new pair of Apple AirPods worth £179.
With a new term on the horizon, many school and university students will be busy buying all of the books and equipment for the year ahead.

A good quality laptop is an essential tool for study, and pairing it with noise cancelling headphones is a perfect way to get your work done in peace.
From now until October 21, eligible customers who purchase a Mac or iPad can get a pair of AirPods for free, as part of its Education Savings offer.
To be eligible for the deal, you have to be either a student, the parent of a higher education student, a staff member at a higher education institution, or a serving school board member.
And if you’re not keen on the Airpods, there’s a whole host of other accessories you can get instead.
If you purchase an iPad, you can get a free Apple Pencil Pro, saving you £119 or AirPods 4, saving you £129.
If you pay an additional fee of £50, you can nab a pair of AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation, saving you £129.
Students can also save £129 on AirPods Pro 2, by buying an iPad and paying an additional £100 and £119 on Magic Keyboard for iPad Air 11-inch if you pay an additional £130.
You can save £119 on the Magic Keyboard for iPad Air 13-inch or the Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro 11-inch if you pay an additional £160.
Finally iPad users can save £119 on the Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro 13-inch after paying an additional £210 fee.
If you purchase a Macbook, you can get either the AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation for free (saving you £179) or, if you pay an additional £50, you can nab the AirPods Pro 2, saving you £179.
Or you can bag a free Magic Mouse (saving between £79 and £99), a free Magic Trackpad (saving between £129 and £149) or a Magic Keyboard with Touch ID and Numeric Keypad (saving between £179 and £199).
Students who purchase iMacs have a choice of free AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation, or for an additional £50, the AirPods Pro 2, saving £179.

This comes as an Apple fans have claimed to have spotted an iPhone 17 Pro in the wild weeks before the official launch.

X user @Skyfops sparked a flurry of online excitement after posting two blurry photos to the social media site of “Apple staff and security” with the new model.
To accompany the post, the user wrote: ” I just spotted a test development iPhone in the wild.”
While The Sun has been unable to verify the claims or images, a top “insider” admitted: “This looks legit.”
In one of the photos, a person wearing reflective sunglasses can be seen holding what appears to be an iPhone inside of a thick black protective case.
There is speculation this might be intended to disguise the design of the iPhone 17 Pro in public.
