Are Indiana Fever BETTER without Caitlin Clark? – WNBA fans convinced team is ‘unstoppable’ without their superstar

WNBA fans have dared to suggest that the Indiana Fever might be better without Caitlin Clark.

Reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year Clark missed another game with injury this week.

Clark has missed more games for the Fever than she’s played this season[/caption]

But it had no impact on her Indiana Fever team as they continued their run.

Clark sat on the side line for Thursday’s 81-54 win over the Las Vegas Aces.

But Indiana romped to a 81-54 victory for their third win in a row.

Clark also missed Tuesday’s WNBA Commissioner’s Cup championship game.

Her Fever team beat the Minnesota Lynx 74-59 to win the trophy.

And one fan boldly declared, “The Indiana Fever are a better team without Caitlin Clark on the floor.”

While another wondered, “Is CCs defense and turnovers holding this team back… they’ve been looking unstoppable lately.”

And a third even suggested potentially trading the superstar.

“Is it possible we are better without CC?” they wrote.

“What trade value could we get? 3 1st rounds?”

Indiana moved to 9-8 for the season with the win over the Las Vegas Aces.

They are 5-4 when Clark has been injured and unavailable.

And Indiana is 4-4 when the 23-year-old superstar is in the team.

One fact that is not up for debate is Clark’s value to the WNBA and women’s basketball.

Her rise in college captured the imagination and led to record viewership for the NCAA Final Four.

TV figures and ticket sales have also increased since she turned professional.

Clark this week teamed up with Nike for a sneaker collaboration with late great Kobe Bryant.

But the new shoes sold out in a matter of seconds.

And fans were left calling for Clark to be given her own signature shoe.

One said, “Imagine if it was her own shoe and design.”

While another commented, “Why not her own logo and shoe?”
