POLICE officer and Instagram star Tommy Norman has been arrested for domestic violence.
The Arkansas cop who has 1.8 million followers gained huge popularity using his social media to document positive relations with communities.

But Norman, from North Little Rock, was booked into jail late on Saturday night after officers were called over a report of domestic violence.
North Little Rock Police Department confirmed his arrest on Sunday.
He faces a single charge of domestic battery in the third degree.
The 27-year-old veteran of North Little Rock police is being held at the Pulaski County Jail without bond.
Officers were called to an address just before midnight where an assault was reported, an arrest report seen by the Northwest Arkansas Democrat Gazette and TMZ.
They spoke to Norman’s wife who claimed the pair had an argument and he struck her on the chest with the back of his hand.
The arrest document reportedly contains a note from the officer that there was a small visible injury to her chest.
However, Normal told officers that he had tried to block his wife as she tried to slap him, which is when the injury occurred, per the report.
The police department has confirmed that Norman is on administrative leave while the investigation continues.

In 2021 he received the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award from President Joe Biden.
