Arshi Bharti Shandilya, who was seen earlier in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, has entered the Sony SAB show Pushpa Impossible, produced by Hats Off Productions. As we know, she plays the role of Anju, who is suffering from cancer and is admitted to the hospital.
The track presently in Pushpa Impossible hovers around Ashwin, Pushpa’s son, who is seen taking care of Anju in the hospital. However, Pushpa sees a bill containing cancer medicines, and gets shocked as to why Ashwin is in the hospital and buying medicines for cancer.
Arshi talked to IWMBuzz.com, about her role in Pushpa Impossible, saying, “I am glad to be playing this role. I am happy that I have been able to garner the attention of viewers after my show, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Now, in Pushpa Impossible, I play a very strong character, that of a last-stage cancer patient.”
Talking about the track, she said, “Anju is spotted with Ashwin. This creates a doubt in Pushpaji’s mind, and she suspects that something is going on between my character and that of Ashwin.”
Arshi is happy to bag roles that are performance-oriented, and will look forward to more such opportunities.
