MILLWALL defender Japhet Tanganga has his sights on a move to Europe in a cheap deal.
The Lions could lose their former Tottenham player as a rush of clubs take an interest.

Tanganga has a fixed fee at a bargain price of around £1.2million — making him an attractive option.
As many as FIVE Premier League sides including Crystal Palace are believed to be interested in the Hackney-born 26-year-old.
But the domestic pack have been told Tanganga’s preference is a switch to Germany or France.
Tanganga, 26, joined Millwall 12 months ago after being released by Spurs.
The former England youth international had played 50 times for his boyhood club before falling out of favour.
Following an unsuccessful loan at Augsburg, Tanganga joined Millwall on an initial six-month deal.
Having impressed at the Den, the defender made the switch permanent.
Tanganga made 40 Championship appearances last season as the Lions came eighth.
HUDDERSFIELD want to bring Murray Wallace back to the club but are fighting with Blackpool.
The defender has left Millwall and is in talks with both sides.
NORWICH are helping keeper Angus Gunn in his recovery from an ankle injury — despite his exit from the club.
Gunn damaged ligaments playing for Scotland and is being treated at Carrow Road as he tries to find a new home.
WREXHAM centre-half Will Boyle hopes to join Gillingham because he will struggle for game time in the Championship.
WIGAN defender K’Marni Miller could be on his way to Stockport. County are lining up a surprise move for the 19-year-old, though Norwich have also shown interest.
BRIGHTON striker Joe Belmont, 18, is wanted on loan by Accrington. The Welshman was at Everton as a kid and could return to the North West.
Meanwhile, Stanley have lost 39 of their academy kids after shutting down that side of the club for financial reasons.
BLACKPOOL are trying to sign winger Warren Davis from Drogheda at the second attempt.
The Republic of Ireland U-21 wideman was due to join the Seasiders as a kid and now they are watching him again.

FOR many hopefuls stepping into the Love Island villa, the ultimate prize isn’t just romance, but a golden ticket to lasting fame and fortune.
However, life after Majorca often proves far different – with influencer freebies and big-money brand deals quickly fading for most contestants.
Shutterstock EditorialMany forgotten Love Island stars have returned to their day jobs[/caption]
As a result, fans are beginning to see former Islanders return to their pre-villa careers.
For many, the stability of a regular job outweighs the fleeting glitz and glamour of reality telly.
Here, The Sun takes a look at those who’ve chosen a normal job over the pursuit of fame.
Billy Brown

Fans of the hit ITV2 dating show saw Billy Brown enter the TV villa back in 2022.
The hunk was one of the bombshells to arrive during Love Island‘s infamous Casar Amor week.
Unfortunately for Billy his time was short-lived and he was dumped from the villa two weeks after his arrival.
Two years on, Billy has now revealed he’s back working his old job as a roofer.
Now 24, he took to social media to share an update with fans on a construction site as he wrote “pushing on”.
He continued on camera: “Another day, doing the house.
“Have a look, pushing on now, the floor joints are going in….that’s how it’s looking from above.
“Next stage is the floor and then the top steels.”
The hunk is also on top of his fitness and regularly posts snaps of him playing football to his 117,000 followers on Instagram.

Hugo Hammond, 28, first shot to prominence when he competed in the seventh series of Love Island.
He appeared on the long-running dating show in 2021 where he was dumped from the villa after 38 days on the show.
But three years following his television stint, the star made a huge personal announcement.
The former reality contestant announced that he is joining property development company Pearcroft Developments.
His new firm specialises in building environmentally friendly luxuryhomes that provide sustainable living.
Hugo took to social media to announce his new personal news and career move.
He was beaming as he posed in a sleek grey kitchen, dressed in a navy polo top with complementary trousers.
The star wrote: “There we land. After a whirlwind few years consisting of teaching, TV and travel.
“I’m Excited to announce that i will be joining the @pearcroft developments investment team, where i will be continuing to build my network and driving sustainable development.
Hugo added: “If you want to know more about #greeninvesting and #sustainableliving, drop me a message.”

His failure to find love in the villa last summer proved to be a blessing in disguise.
Not long after the show, Munveer returned to his work in recruitment, specifically the tech sector, which he now has a decade of experience in.
But having had a taste of the Love Island life, he’s craving more time in the public eye.
“I’ve had a taste for it now and I feel like where I had it just taken away from me ever so quickly,” he says. “I feel like I’ve got so much more to offer. I loved it. So if there’s more opportunities out there, like your Made In Chelsea, The Traitors or wherever it is, I’m definitely up for it.”

Anna confessed: “First day back working as a Pharmacist since leaving Love Island. It’s been almost a whole year! Wow can’t believe how fast it’s gone.
“Wasn’t really planning on registering yet but with everything that’s going on it felt wrong not to.

1 day agoUSA UpdateComments Off on Inside the war raging over the Karen Read murder retrial – and why online chaos has echoes of the Delphi case
ONE dead police officer, two furious camps of supporters, and a flood of sickening, bitter online hate that’s threatening to destroy lives.
The small Massachusetts suburb of Canton, just 20 miles south of Boston, will hold its breath this weekend as the tumultuous Karen Read murder trial enters a decisive stage.
APSupporters of Karen Read were out in numbers as the trial reached a potentially explosive climax[/caption]
APSupporters of the late Boston police officer John O’Keefe have described the scenes outside court as an “embarrassing circus.”[/caption]
APJohn O’Keefe was found dead in January 2022 after a night out drinking with girlfriend Karen Read[/caption]
DRAMATIC ENDING
Closing arguments were heard Friday, as Read fights a second degree murder charge over the January 29, 2022 death of her boyfriend, Boston police officer John O’Keefe.
The jury were sent for deliberation after eight weeks in Norfolk Superior Court and will return on Monday with a decision expected imminently.
She also faced charges for driving drunk when the fatal incident occurred, along with fleeing the scene after allegedly causing O’Keefe’s death.
He was found dead in the snow outside a private party at the house of Brian Albert, a retired Boston cop and lifelong Canton resident.
What began as a tragic incident has spiraled into one of the most polarizing legal battles in recent state history.
And at the heart of the drama —played out daily via live courthouse streams — is a vicious tug-of-war between two increasingly hostile groups of observers, each convinced they know where justice truly lies.
The U.S. Sun spoke last month with Read supporter Rita Lombardi, who described how the town has been “torn apart,” with relatives and friends turning on her over her defense of the accused woman.
She even said her lawn had been vandalized with bleach filled balloons which were allegedly thrown onto her property.
Theories of police misconduct have circulated widely, with critics pointing fingers at investigators for alleged interference and a lack of transparency.
Read’s defense team alleges that O’Keefe, who was the legal guardian of his niece and nephew after their parents died, actually entered Albert’s house, only to be beaten, possibly bitten by a dog, then hauled out into the snow.
FURIOUS COUNTER-CLAIM
But O’Keefe’s loved ones argue that Read acted out of malice after a night of heavy drinking, insisting she is solely responsible for the 46-year-old’s death by reversing into him.
Read, who chose not to testify in either trial, has since become outspoken in the media.
She’s spoken to reporters outside court, appeared on TV, sat down for a Vanity Fair interview, and participated in a true-crime docuseries — all while maintaining her innocence.
But in court, prosecutors played a pivotal moment from her October 2024 Dateline interview, where Read appeared to waver. “I didn’t think I hit him,” she said in the clip. “But could I have clipped him… knocked him out… and in drunkenness and in the cold, he didn’t come to again?”
“She was drunk, she hit him and left him to die” said prosecutor Hank Brennan, who is best known for defending James “Whitey” Bulger, the notorious mob boss, in his closing statement Friday, where he described their two year relationship as “toxic.”
“It was crumbling. The discontent was palpable.”
The late officer also has a vocal group of backers on X, many of whom remain anonymous out of fear of retaliation — but are convinced of Read’s guilt.
The U.S. Sun spoke to two O’Keefe supporters who requested anonymity due to ongoing harassment.
They claim some Read advocates have contacted their employers and launched smear campaigns that spilled into their professional and personal lives.
“We get death threats,” said one supporter. “People stalk and dox us. They post old photos and dig through every account you’ve ever had. The harassment is unreal.”
The unnamed woman said the online chaos reminds her of the Delphi murders, where amateur sleuths posted graphic crime scene images of two slain Indiana teens.
The twisted man behind one of America’s most haunting child murder cases was unmasked not in court—but online, as chilling footage of his confession exploded across social media.
Richard Allen, the Indiana pharmacy worker who butchered two schoolgirls on a wooded trail, is now serving 130 years behind bars—but it’s the internet, not the justice system, that truly blew this case wide open.
The 2024 trial ended with Allen handed the maximum sentence for murdering 13-year-old Abigail “Abby” Williams and 14-year-old Liberty “Libby” German, who vanished while hiking in Delphi back in 2017.
But it wasn’t until after the courtroom drama wrapped that the most disturbing evidence began surfacing online — uncensored, unfiltered, and horrifying.
Clips from Libby’s phone — captured just moments before her death—and video of Allen breaking down and confessing during a police interrogation have been shared across X, TikTok, and YouTube in recent months.

APSocial media sleuths also played their part in the horrific case of the double Delphi murders in 2017[/caption]
Viewers were stunned to see the killer’s face twitch and crumble as he admitted to the murders, confirming years of whispers and theories that had dominated true crime forums and Reddit threads.
The footage, originally shown in court, was leaked or obtained through media pressure — and once it hit the web, it spread like wildfire.
“No matter what the verdict is, someone died. That’s the real tragedy here.
John O'Keefe supporter
While there is no smoking gun confession in this case, critics say social media has done more to expose the truth than the authorities ever did, while the victims’ families wrestle with grief all over again as the killer’s confession plays out on loop for millions.
WILD THEORIES
In Canton, accusations have flown around about YouTubers profiting off false narratives. One blogger, known as Turtleboy, has been indicted on 16 counts including witness intimidation.
The woman we spoke to estimates “500 to 1,000 people” are involved in targeted harassment.
“It’s terrible. The same thing happened in Delphi. People are attacking witnesses and families. Defense teams have worked directly with TikTokers and YouTubers to push propaganda,” she said.
“We’re tired of seeing victims’ families get dragged. A group of us is working to name and call out the people spreading lies for clicks.”
She also noted that while some O’Keefe supporters have been physically stalked, they’ve avoided retaliation—focusing instead on courtroom updates.
“To me, it’s obvious. You’d have to suspend all logic to think this wasn’t a domestic violence drunk hit-and-run,” she said. “It’s shocking how badly we treat male victims. He was trapped in a coercive relationship.”
The public attention has overwhelmed Canton. Last year’s street demonstrations during the first trial, she said, were “humiliating.”
“It’s an embarrassing circus,” she added.
Another O’Keefe supporter from Massachusetts said he’s been forced to speak anonymously behind a parody account.
He told the U.S. Sun the case has “divided the community” and made it nearly impossible to talk about openly.
He also pointed to recent anti-police sentiment in cities like Los Angeles as a factor in the case.
“People are quick to believe police are hiding something,” said the man, who posts under @cccuomo870. “Whether that’s true or not, the fact that so many think it is shows how far trust has eroded.”
A timeline of Karen Read's case
Karen Read, the Mansfield woman accused of fatally striking her cop boyfriend with her SUV in January 2022, began her second trial in April 2025.
A judge declared a mistrial on July 1, 2024, after a jury failed to reach a unanimous verdict after five days of deliberation.
January 29, 2022: O’Keefe’s body is found outside of a friend’s home.
February 1, 2022: Read was arrested and charged with manslaughter, motor vehicle homicide, and leaving the scene of a vehicle homicide.
February 2, 2022: Read pleads not guilty in Stoughton District Court.
June 9, 2022: A state grand jury indicts Read on upgraded charges of second-degree murder, manslaughter, and leaving the scene.
April 12, 2023: Read’s attorneys publicly release court documents they say contain “bombshell exculpatory information,” including Jennifer McCabe’s Google search.
Nov. 20, 2023: Residents of the divided community vote 903-800 to audit the Canton Police Department over the case.
May 23, 2023: During another pre-trial hearing, the defense says that the murder of John O’Keefe is a massive cover-up involving members of law enforcement and their friends and family members.
Feb. 22, 2024: Prosecutors unveil long-awaited results of crime scene evidence tests, alleging that O’Keefe’s DNA was recovered from the broken taillight of Read’s vehicle.
April 12, 2024: Read’s defense attorneys say in court that Brian Albert, his son Colin Albert, and Brian Higgins could have each killed O’Keefe at the party that night.
April 16, 2024: Read’s trial began in Massachusetts Superior Court.
May 17, 2024: Jennifer McCabe, who was with Read when she discovered O’Keefe’s body, testifies that during their search, Read repeatedly said: “Did I hit him? Could I have hit him?” She also says Read later said when emergency workers were on the scene: “I hit him.”
June 3, 2024: The defense accuses police of planting the shattered fragments of taillight from Read’s car at the scene of the crime.
June 24, 2024: The defense rests their case.
July 1, 2024: A judge declared a hung jury after five days of deliberation.
April 22, 2025: Read’s second murder trial begins.
The backlash, he said, has been intense.
“I’ve been threatened, accused of bias—everything. It’s not easy, but I try to stay focused on facts and tune out the noise.
“People are so wrapped up in their version of the truth they’ll go to extreme lengths to defend it. It’s unsettling.”
Friends in Canton feel caught in a mess where emotion has blurred the truth.
But one thing, he believes, is clear:
“No matter what the verdict is, someone died,” he said. “That’s the real tragedy here.”

Harry started his speech in German, greeting members of the country with their native tongue by saying “Guten Tag Deutschland!”
The Duke referenced joining over 2500 people including veterans and injured service members when he was last in Germany for the Invictus Games in Dusseldorf back in 2023.
Harry said: “My last visit to your remarkable country was to Düsseldorf two years ago for the Invictus Games, and it remains etched in my memory.
“The warmth, the enthusiasm, and the unwavering support shown by the German people for our global community of wounded service personnel was truly humbling. You certainly delivered on your promise to create a home for respect.
“That spirit of camaraderie, forged on the sports field, mirrors the unbreakable bond that connects veterans of all nations. We understand each other, regardless of flag or uniform, bound by shared experiences and an enduring commitment to service.
“Veterans are more than warriors – they are leaders. Living testaments to resilience and moral courage, they understand that loyalty must never lie with power alone, but with the people. With truth.”
During the video message, Harry was seen wearing numerous ceremonial medals that he was awarded in the past.
This included the Afghan Campaign medal, Golden Jubilee medal, Diamond Jubilee medal and Platinum Jubilee medal.
However, non-working members of the royal family are barred from wearing military uniforms to official state occasions and Harry was not allowed to wear the military uniform to theQueen’s processionfollowing herdeath.
After Harry stepped away from hisRoyal Familyduties he was also stripped of his honorary military roles.
But the Duke still wore hismedals on his suitat the coffin procession for the late Queen.
Speaking about service, Harry continued in his speech: “As someone who has worn the uniform and stood shoulder to shoulder with brothers-and sisters-in-arms from across the world – including many of you – I know that the weight of service is not carried lightly.
“We serve not to glorify war, but to protect peace. Not to follow a single voice, but to uphold a collective oat – to country, to people, and to the principles that bind us together as free nations.
“Germany has shown the world how memory, accountability, and unity can be turned into strength.”
Harry added how during “turbulent times”,, Germany’s role in safeguarding peace and stability in Europe “has never been more critical”.
He continued: “To the brave men and women of the Bundeswehr – a heartfelt thank you for your steadfast service to your country, to your people and to one another.
“Today is also a celebration of you, the values you stand for, the oath you took and the great country you stand to protect.
“Today, let us renew our commitment—together—to protect the freedoms that define who we are, to serve each other for peace, for dignity and for the enduring promise of democracy.
“Vielen dank und einen schonen tag.”

In January 2006, Clarence House announced he was to join the Blues and Royals, after which he was commissioned as an Army officer on 12 April that year.
The Duke of Sussex served in the Army for ten years, undertaking two tours of Afghanistan.
The father of two rose to the rank of Captain at the peak of his military career which began in 2004.
During his time serving, he qualified as an Apache Aircraft Commander.
In his memoir Spare he revealed he flew six missions during his second tour of duty which resulted in “the taking of human lives” of which he was neither proud nor ashamed.
His decision to leave the Army was confirmed in March 2015.
Prince Harry ended his military career at the rank of captain in June 2015, following a secondment to the Australian military.
General Sir Nicholas Carter, the then-Chief of the General Staff, said that Prince Harry had “achieved much in his 10 years as a soldier”.
