NFL fans have been left divided over an incident that happened during Dallas Cowboys training camp.
Video footage posted on X of Dak Prescott on the practice field was posted on X.
And it quickly went viral with more than one million views.
The Athletic’s Dallas Cowboys reporter Jon Machota shared an eight-second clip on his account.
It left fans with differing opinions on what happened on the field.
“Dak to George Pickens TD,” Machota wrote.
The clip showed Prescott throwing towards Pickens in the back corner of the end zone.
Newly-acquired wide receiver Pickens was in double coverage.
It apparently happened during joint practice with the Los Angeles Rams.
The Dallas Cowboys star was going against No.4 Ahkello Witherspoon and No. 37 Quentin Lake.
Pickens seemed to high-point the ball and come down with the touchdown.
But as the players got back up, it was No.37 holding the football and not No.3.
“What a catch, kept his feet in and everything,” one fan said.
Another posted, “Man Pickens about to go for 1,400 yards 10 TDs.”
While a third called him a “contested catch master.”
Other fans weren’t quite so convinced the Cowboys receiver caught the ball.
There were even slo-mo videos and freeze frames posted by both sides of the argument to try and prove a point.
One sceptic commented, “That’s actually a pick. The receiver did not have possession going to the ground.”
“That’s not a td,” another simply said.
While a third posted, “Anyone who thinks this isnt a incomplete pass needs to not talk ball.
“WR never possessed the ball inbounds.
“Both players are out of bounds and hit the ground before either have clear possession.”

SHOCKING new details have emerged in the chilling case of the mushroom cook killer who poisoned her former in-laws and aunt to death.
Convicted triple-murderer Erin Patterson was found guilty of lacing a beef Wellington lunch with lethal death cap mushrooms – the world’s most lethal fungus – to kill her guests.
It has now emerged that Patterson tried to kill her estranged husband Simon by poisoning bolognese pasta and chicken korma curry, the court heard.
She tried to poison him on three occasions between 2021 and 2022, according to freshly released evidence.
The mum also tried to feed him a batch of poison-laced cookies she claimed their daughter had baked him
The potentially damning allegations about Patterson’s behaviour before the killings were kept from the jury to give the mum a fair trial.
However, a Supreme Court judge today rejected an application to keep these allegations secret.
Simon told a pre-trial hearing how Patterson had asked him to taste test a batch of curries she had made.
He said: “I remember Erin saying that the purpose of the taste test was so she could, I guess, customise future curry production for our respective tastes.”
He later fell ill after eating a mild chicken korma served by Patterson on a camping trip in 2022.
“At first I felt hot, especially in my head, and that led to feeling nauseous and then that led to me quite suddenly needing to vomit,” Simon added.
He eventually fell into a coma before receiving life-saving surgery to remove a section of his bowel.
He later told doctor Christopher Ford that he had come to suspect Patterson might be deliberately poisoning him.
Simon became worried when Patterson offered him a batch of homemade cookies, Ford said.
“Simon was apprehensive about eating the cookies, as he felt they may be poisoned,” the doctor told a pre-trial hearing last year.
“He reported to me that while they were away, Erin called several times and enquired about whether he had eaten any of the cookies.”
When his parents fell gravely ill after eating at Patterson’s house, Simon would regretfully confide these fears in his family.
He had been invited to the fatal lunch which killed his parents as well, but pulled out because he felt “uncomfortable”.
“He wanted to tell us that he had suspected his own illnesses had been a deliberate act,” cousin Ruth Dubois told a pre-trial hearing.
“He had stopped eating food that Erin had prepared, because he suspected that she might have been messing with it.
“And that he was really sorry that he hadn’t told our family.”
Prosecutors dropped those charges before the start of Patterson’s trial, with tight restrictions preventing the media from revealing any details.
Patterson hosted an intimate meal in July 2023 that started with good-natured banter and earnest prayer — but ended with three guests dead.
A 12-person jury found the 50-year-old guilty of murdering Simon’s parents Don and Gail Patterson, as well as his aunt Heather Wilkinson.
She was also found guilty of attempting to murder Heather’s husband, Ian, a well-known pastor at the local Baptist church.
Throughout a trial lasting more than two months, Patterson maintained the beef-and-pastry dish was accidentally poisoned with death cap mushrooms, the world’s most lethal fungus.
Simon had been invited to that lunch as well, but pulled out because he felt “uncomfortable”.
Death cap mushrooms are easily mistaken for other edible varieties, and reportedly possess a sweet taste that belies their potent toxicity.
Patterson will return to court on August 25 for hearings that will determine how long she spends behind bars.
DISTURBING footage appears to show Olympic champion Sha’Carri Richardson taking swipes at her boyfriend at Seattle airport.
The sprinter, who won 4x100m relay gold medal and 100m silver at last year’s Paris Games, was reportedly held in custody on charges of domestic violence.
Richardson reportedly got into a fiery argument with her boyfriend and fellow athlete Christian Coleman near a TSA security checkpoint in the airport.
A police officer claims to have witnessed the sprinter shoving Coleman multiple times as he tried to walk away, according to The Athletic.
Footage captured on a security camera shows Richardson, dressed all in black and donning a cap, tugging at her partner’s rucksack strap before forcefully pushing him.
She then blocks his path before shoving him into a wall as fellow holidaygoers watch on in disbelief.
Moments later, the two re-enter the frame and Sha’Carri is seen pummelling Coleman as he attempts to walk off.
The police report later said that Richardson seemingly threw an item at Coleman, which the TSA indicated may have been headphones.
The case was cleared and the Olympic athlete was released from jail after Coleman allegedly refused to press charges and “declined to be a victim”, DailyMail reports.
Richardson landed in custody at the SCORE South Correctional Facility in Des Moines, Wash at 6:54pm on Sunday and was released at 1:30pm on Monday, according to police records.
The Team USA star rose to fame for competing in the 200m and 100m events at the Paris Olympics.
The sprinter is not only known for her lightning speed, but also her distinctive style.
The Texan gained popularity for her eye-catching hair colours, long painted nails and unique tattoos.
Richardson missed out on her Olympics debut at Tokyo 2020 due to a ban but made up for it the last year’s games.
Richardson served a one-month ban after testing positive for THC (cannabis).
The American accepted the ban “for an anti-doping rule violation for testing positive for a substance of abuse” and worked her way back to the spotlight.
Richardson told Vogue: “I’m better at being Sha’Carri. I’m better at being myself.”
Sha’Carri Richardson came back strong in 2023 with some stunning results in the World Championships in Budapest.
Richardson won the gold medal in the 100m event and bronze in 200m.
The runner also anchored Team USA to first place in the 4x100m relay race.
