THE Voice UK has hit the pause button – with the 2025 series now delayed until next year after bosses signed up a major new US superstar as judge.
The Voice UK is making a comeback – but fans will have to wait a little longer, as it’s been pushed back from its usual autumn slot to early next year.
Insiders say the ITV singing show will now hit screens in January, airing on weekend nights – either Saturday or Sunday – as bosses rejig the schedule.
The iconic red chairs are gearing up to spin once more – and it’s a star-studded line-up on the coaching panel.
Music legend will.i.am and national treasure Sir Tom Jones are back in action, joining last year’s winning duo Tom Fletcher and Danny Jones from McFly – who made Voice history as the show’s first-ever double chair coaches.
Danny and Tom won the last series after mentoring up-and-coming singer Ava Manning.
Joining the showbiz squad this year is none other than Kelly Rowland – chart-topping megastar and global icon.
Kelly has previously judged on The X Factor UK in 2011 and coached on The Voice Australia.
The Destiny’s Child legend is set to shake things up on the spinning chairs, bringing a fresh energy and serious star power.
This comes after LeAnn Rimes, 42, left the show to refocus on her US career and is set to appear as a mentor on the American version of the format alongside Sheryl Crow.
With Grammy Awards under her belt and a career spanning singing, acting and producing, Kelly’s ready to battle it out to find Britain’s next big star.
Kelly said: “I am excited to join The Voice UK as a coach, and am looking forward to working with the excellent and passionate coaches the show is known for.
“I can’t wait to hear all the new talent and to go to battle for my team. Let’s go!”
Back in the hot seat is Emma Willis, returning to steer the show through every high note, dramatic chair turn and backstage bust-up as hopefuls battle it out for the ultimate prize – a life-changing record deal with Universal Music, a whopping £50k cash, and a dream trip to Universal Studios Florida.
Emma said: “I’m so excited to be back for another series of The Voice UK. It’s one of the most joyful shows to work on – full of passion, talent and of course those unforgettable moments when the chairs turn.

Filming for the new season kicks off this summer, with the all-singing, all-dancing new series produced by Lifted Entertainment, part of ITV Studios.
A MAJOR European airport is currently undergoing construction of a new terminal.
The bustling hub will officially open the new £3.6 billion building in 2026, with details already emerging of what travellers can expect.
Construction of the ambitious project first began in 2015 with some areas already complete and ready to welcome the public.
The new terminal will feature modern amenities, such as a 6,000-square-metre marketplace, luxury retail spaces, and a variety of dining options.
It will also include a new Sky Line people mover system connecting passengers to the airport’s existing terminals in just eight minutes.
Frankfurt Airport’s highly anticipated Terminal 3 is set to open ahead of the 2026 summer travel season, with an official date yet to be confirmed.
The terminal is said to be designed for an “unparalleled passenger experience”.
Travel experts at Aero Bernie discussed how the building has been “carefully planned to embody Frankfurt Airport’s core values of service, quality, innovation, partnership, and commitment”.
The terminal’s marketplace will include a unique ceiling design, serving as a focal point for passengers.
“Each element of the terminal’s design and operation has been crafted to enhance the overall travel experience,” travel pros said.
The first phase of the terminal’s opening will accommodate up to 19 million passengers annually.
As well as reflecting Frankfurt Airport’s commitment to meeting the traveler needs, the terminal also highlights its “dedication to sustainability and forward-thinking infrastructure development”.
“The transformation of Frankfurt Airport’s Terminal 3 offers an exciting glimpse into the future of travel,” the experts said.
Architects have made the most of natural light in the space, creating walls of windows and limiting artifical overheads.
They have also integrated practical features such as pipes into the architecture to reduce any eyesores.
Meanwhile, Terminal 3 will also include a variety of diverse dining experiences.
Travellers can choose from everything from quick snacks to fine dining overlooking the airfield.

The terminal building will consist of seven levels, with 99 elevators and 89 escalators.
Christoph Mäckler, the architect who designed Terminal 3, spoke about his vision.
“These days airports have become a destination in their own right,” he explained.
“In fact, they typically receive more visitors than many city centres.
“This makes it even more important for airports to also perform some of the same functions as cities. We’re making this happen in Terminal 3.”

But residents in an idyllic hamlet are now terrified their beloved village will turn into a posh tourist magnet.
Fittleworth in West Sussex has been named one of 2025’s Coolest Neighbourhoods To Move To in a list compiled by The Sunday Times.
Visitors say the village is the best-kept secret in Sussex but worried locals want it to remain that way.
Two hours from London and 25 miles north of Brighton, it is nestled in the South Downs and has just 1,000 residents.
Home to a popular old coaching inn, a gallery, a primary school, two churches and a community-owned shop incorporating a cafe and post office, the sprawling village, close to Pulborough, boasts some excellent walks and views.
It also has its fair share of celebrities – musicians Bryan Ferry and Dave Gilmour live up the road, while Mumford and Sons bassist, Ted Dwane, is just outside the village.
And the late actors Dame Maggie Smith, Dorothy Tutin and Jimmy Edwards all lived in or close to the village during the 1960s and 70s.
But residents now fear their idyllic area could become the next ‘Chipping Norton,’ a dreaded hive of tourist activity with soaring hotel prices, Airbnb conversions and coach-loads of visitors packing the streets.
“I hate Chipping Norton,” said one elderly resident, who has lived in Fittleworth for 50 years.
“It is packed full of tourist coaches and people taking photos of everything.
“Someone I know who used to live there moved out when a bunch of tourists traipsed in through her front door and asked for a cream tea.
“When she tried to shoo them out, one of them got his camera out and took a picture of her front room!
“Fittleworth has so much more to offer. I’ve been here for 50 years and it is the sense of living in a community that I really like.
“I don’t want tourist coaches and the like clogging up our roads and ramping up the price of things in our local shops.”
The village is really alive. There’s always something going on here.

Fittleworth Village Stores, which opened just six years ago, recently won best village shop in Britain.
Toni Humphrey, manager, said: “The root of the success of our village store lies in what it can provide as a community hub.
“It appeals to everyone, young and old, and is a real meeting place. It was set up by the community, with residents buying shares into the business, and it has just taken off.
“People come here to catch up with friends and to pass on news. We welcome everyone and it’s just a very relaxed place.”
As well as a cafe, kiddies playground and villages stores, it also provides a post office for the community.
The shop has nine permanent members of staff and 30 volunteers – and almost 20 teenagers doing work placement.
Located next to the primary school, it has become an invaluable asset for parents.
Janet Claxton, who volunteers at the Village Stores, said: “The village is really alive. There’s always something going on here.”
Meanwhile, The Swan Inn, a Grade II listed coaching house dating back to 15th century, has recently reopened after a huge refurbishment.
Formerly brewery-owned, it closed in the Covid pandemic, but after a huge investment is back in business, offering top-notch country pub food and accommodation.

It’s owned by Sussex-born restaurateur, Angus Davies, who has masterminded a transformation that has seen visitors coming from far and wide to stay in one of its 12 rooms.
Mr Davies, who has worked at other pubs and restaurants including Chez Bruce, Lorne, and Sorrel, said he wants to offer all the comforts of a country pub with top-quality service and experience.
The inn has a long and illustrious pedigree. During the late 19th and early 20th century, the beauty of the South Downs attracted writers, musicians and artists.
JMW Turner, Rudyard Kipling, Constable, Emmeline Pankhurst and composer Hubert Parry have all signed the visitors book, while composer Edward Elgar lived in a small cottage above the village from 1917 to 1921, where he wrote his final four major works.
“I’m proud of what we’ve achieved here,” said Mr Davies.
“It’s been a real labour of love. It has an honesty about it and we are getting a lot of interest.”
But the Swann now has increasing competition in another sign of the village’s rising status.
Residents have mixed views on the rise in local Airbnbs. A quick survey by The Sun showed 25 in and around the village with some charging as much as £430 a night.
They are becoming a magnet for Londoners in particular escaping the city’s chaos at weekends and during school breaks.

Upper Fittleworth has been the centre of the village since Saxon times and is home to St Mary’s Church, parts of which date back to the 1200s.
Vicar, Reverend David Crook, said: “There is a really great atmosphere in the village. It’s a friendly place and we get a lot of help around the church.
“I’ve been here six years and love it. People chip in and help with the church flowers and we have a very active congregation.”
Deborah Wright, a church warden who moved to Fittleworth 10 years ago, said: “Places like Fittleworth are special. It has a lot of charm and has a really active community life.”
Visitors Sylvia Mason and Steve Jarvis had travelled from Chichester to have a look round the village.

“I heard about it being a really desirable place to live and so we decided to come and have a look.
“It’s actually very lovely. I don’t know the Cotswolds but Fittleworth is really very pretty and the people who live here are so friendly. What more could you ask for?”
Up until 2025 the village was a well-kept secret and locals feel that, despite all the recent clamour, it will remain so.

TV star Levison Wood has revealed he’s set to become a dad for the first time just four days after going Instagram official with his new girlfriend.
Last week Levison, 43, took to social media to share loved-up snaps of him with new love Ana.
Now he’s revealed they’re expecting their first child together.
Alongside a new photo of him and Ana, Levison wished his girlfriend a happy birthday. He wrote: “Happy birthday to this wonderful human being! (And yep we’re having a baby, not just a big lunch).”
Fans rushed to comment, with one writing: “Massive congratulations to you both! I wish you a lifetime of happiness and beautiful new adventures as a trio!”
