Laura Anderson takes HUGE swipe at Gary Lucy on Father’s Day

LAURA Anderson has taken a swipe at her son’s dad Gary Lucy on Father’s Day.

“Cheers to the single mums that feel sh*t for their kids on Father’s Day,” Laura penned over the top of a video of herself frowning, seemingly taking a veiled dig at her ex.

Gary and Laura split in 2023 – the same year they welcomed their daughter[/caption]

Dressed in a pink vest t-shirt and with her blonde locks in a sleek style, Laura then put a thumb up before the screen went blank and only the caption remained.

Laura welcomed daughter Bonnie, whom she shares with ex Gary, in 2023.

The couple had an on-and-off relationship, but things are now on bad terms with Laura even branding Gary a “deadbeat dad”.

Last month Gary seemingly reignited his feud with his Celebs Go Dating ex Laura after warning that “dads matter”.

The former Footballers’ Wives star made the apparent dig while sharing a throwback video of himself and his son Theodore, six.

Gary had been filmed in a restaurant as he sat next to Theodore and they could be seen giggling about “spicy” food together.

The actor then gently grabbed his son’s cheeks and said: “Look at that face, that gorgeous face..”

The video finished with Gary giving Theodore a kiss.

Gary, 43, shared the footage on Instagram but seemed to have also made a swipe at Laura, 36, in the process.

Laura has taken aim at Gary several times in the past over Bonnie being snapped with her dad rarely.

Reigniting the row himself, Gary cryptically captioned his video: “Good enough to eat … Gorgeous Boy #dadsmatter.”

Replying, one follower asked: “Thought you had a girl with Laura..?”

Gary shares Theodore with his ex-wife Natasha. They are also parents to India, 18, Elvis, 12 and Sadie, seven.

Gary and Laura met while filming E4‘s Celebs Go Dating in 2022.

Laura Anderson and Gary Lucy's relationship timeline

  • Laura and Gary met when they both appeared on Celebs Go Dating back in 2022
  • They announced Laura’s pregnancy in February 2023
  • Just one day later, they revealed that they had split
  • Later in 2023, they appeared to have reconciled
  • Laura gave birth to daughter Bonnie in September 2023
  • They announced shortly afterwards that they were no longer together
  • In June 2024, Lucy was asked if Gary had seen Bonnie, to which she responded: “No he hasn’t since 2nd January if you would like to direct those questions to him as I have no control over the actions of others”.
  • In August 2024, Gary shared a video of himself with Bonnie
  • With Laura hitting out: “Instead of posting videos of the one time you saw your daughter this year, can you please reply to my text from 2weeks ago please, that would be great”.
  • Laura marked Bonnie’s birthday in September 2024 as she referenced her “beautiful daughter”
  • When someone asked where her relationship with Gary stands, Laura replied: “No matter what Gary has done and not done I will always respect him as Bonnie’s father and I hope one day he is capable of being the father she deserves.”

At the end of 2022, the pair revealed they were expecting a child together.

They shared an announcement on Instagram containing snaps of the pair dressed up as elves at Christmas as they celebrated the joyous news.

Laura broke things off with Gary shortly after they celebrated the happy pregnancy news together.

The couple split after they attended their first baby scan together.

Gary revealed their split to The Sun in February 2023 when he said: “I love Laura but we are no longer together.

“My main drive as always is to work together to co-parent our child. I look forward to the arrival of the new baby.”

Pop royalty Williams came up with the idea of Soccer Aid alongside his friend Jonathan Wilkes, while sitting poolside in Los Angeles.

Wilkes said on Soccer Aid’s success: “It’s incredible, I can honestly say with my hand on my heart that I genuinely thought it was going to be a one-off in 2006.”

The money raised from the celebrity charity match is donated to children’s charity Unicef.

SOCCER AID LIVE – LATEST UPDATES

Williams said in 2021 about Soccer Aid, which made a then record £13 that year: “It’s difficult to put into words the impact that £13 million could have for children around the world.

“It could help Unicef to get life-saving food supplies moving again. It could help ensure that children are still able to receive their routine vaccinations. It could help get children back to school, back with their friends, back to just being kids again. The list goes on.”

Soccer Aid was initially held every two years, but since 2018, it has become an annual event.

Williams, 51, has been working with Unicef since 1998 after being introduced to the organisation by the late Ian Dury.

Williams last played in Soccer Aid back in 2016, only coming on as an 83rd-minute substitute.

He withdrew due to injury in 2018 taking to managerial roles for the big clash since, and sang Angels at half-time at the London Stadium in 2022.

Williams is currently in the middle of his BRITPOP tour, in support of his first new album in 10 years.

Chloe Kelly jets off on sun-kissed holiday as Arsenal star takes well-deserved break before Euro 2025 with Lionesses

CHLOE KELLY is living it up on a dream break – before trying to complete a dream double.

The Lionesses forward jetted off with Manchester United defender Gabby George and their partners for sun-drenched hols ahead of Euro 2025.

Loanee Kelly helped Arsenal to the Champions League crown last month, ending Barcelona‘s bid for three such titles in a row.

Now she’s making the most of brief downtime before England’s defence of their Euro 2022 glory begins in Switzerland on July 5.

Kelly, 27, shared shimmering shots of a blissful getaway with her 955,000 Instagram followers.

She wrote: “UNO of Summer so far… things are hotting up pre Euros.”

George replied to Kelly’s message with “Love you” – plus a love heart.

To which 52-cap star Kelly responded: “Love you girl – 4 amigos.”

George, 28, who is Jesse Lingard’s cousin, failed to make Sarina Wiegman’s 23-women squad for next month’s Euros.

But she did beat Kelly in one sporty, time-honoured holiday activity.

One fan snuck into the pair’s online love-in by asking: “Need to know who won mini golf.”

Kelly answered that George had “fluked it”.

But the Red Devils’ centre-back offered a different interpretation of the event as she posted: “Precision I call it” – followed by a laughing emoji.

The footballing friends had earlier shared clips of their dancing, having booked a sea-view villa with a swimming pool.

And Kelly will hope mini-golf defeat is the only blot on her golden summer.

She shone for the Gunners after joining on loan from Manchester City in January.

Kelly is now in talks over a permanent switch to Arsenal after being released by City at the end of her contract – as well as chasing second-successive Euros joy under Wiegman.

Her online fans gratefully loved the 10 latest pics she posted on Instagram – some in a bikini, many with husband Scott Moore and all with a beaming smile.

One admirer wrote: “There’s def something about Chloe” and another described her as “angelic”.

A third called her “as beautiful as a goddess perfectly made by nature and an extraordinary soccer player”.

The Lionesses beat Portugal 6-0 then lost 2-1 to Spain in Nations League games a fortnight ago.

Next comes a single warm-up game against Jamaica at the King Power Stadium on June 29 before a Euros opener with France six days later.

That’s followed by England’s last two group games – against the Netherlands on July 9 and Wales four days later.

Easy 30-second trick could stop you being conned out of £1,000s – but you’ll need to call your family today

Collage of WhatsApp scam message, social media apps, and a hand typing on a keyboard.

A DEVASTATING scam that can cost you thousands of pounds in seconds can easily be blocked – it just takes 30 seconds.

The only catch is that you’ll want to get ready for it in advance.

WhatsApp chat showing a scam message.
Facebook
The cruel scam can look something like this when delivered over text[/caption]

One of the most common text-based scams out there right now is called the “Hi Mum” con.

It’s also known as the “friend in need” scam, and attempts to trick unsuspecting parents into handing over cash quickly.

A crook will pose as your child and convince you to send cash in an emergency – but it’s a total con.

Thankfully, there’s a very easy way to scupper it and keep your cash safe.

WHAT IS THE SCAM?

City of London Police‘s Action Fraud issued a major warning about the scam back in 2022, revealing that it had already cost users £1.5 million.

“Criminals will typically claim to be a family member and will usually begin the conversation with ‘Hello Mum’ or ‘Hello Dad’,” Action Fraud explained.

“They will say that they are texting from a new mobile number as their phone was lost or damaged and will go on to ask for money to purchase a new phone, or claim that they need money urgently to pay a bill.

“The criminal will supply their bank details for payment, with some coming back on multiple occasions until the victim realises they’ve been scammed.”

Since then, the scam has only grown in popularity.

In 2023, McAfee issued an alert warning of a “new threat” were crooks were using AI to carry out more convincing versions of the scam.

This even involved using AI voice-cloning tech to make the con work over phone calls.

“With inexpensive and easy-to-use AI voice-cloning tools, fraudsters are delivering bespoke messages through calls or voicemails and fraudulently asking for help in the form of financial assistance,” McAfee warned.

“In the past, those wishing to create these assets needed to have both the time and technical ability to replicate voices.

“But applications and tools that produce near instantaneous, highly believable results are now just a few clicks away.”

Crooks can deliver the con over almost any social media or chat app[/caption]

The scam can turn up on chat apps like WhatsApp or iMessage, via email, or even over the phone using an AI-cloned voice.

And it can be highly convincing: Brits have already lost millions to the con, with thousands sometimes being taken in a single attack.

“If you receive a message like this from a friend or family member, don’t send any money until you’ve had a chance to call them and confirm their identity,” said Detective Chief Inspector Craig Mullish.

“Taking a moment to stop and think before parting with your money or information could keep you safe.”

ACTION FRAUD – THE OFFICIAL ADVICE

Action Fraud advises that the public follow the advice of the Take Five to Stop Fraud campaign to keep themselves safe from fraud.

  • Stop: Taking a moment to stop and think before parting with your money or information could keep you safe.
  • Challenge: Could it be fake? It’s okay to reject, refuse or ignore any requests. Only criminals will try to rush or panic you.
  • Protect: If you think you’ve been a victim of fraud, contact your bank immediately and report it to Action Fraud online at actionfraud.police.uk or by calling 0300 123 2040.

How to report

  • You can report suspicious text messages you have received but not acted upon, by forwarding the original message to 7726, which spells SPAM on your keypad.
  • You can report suspicious emails you have received but not acted upon, by forwarding the original message to report@phishing.gov.uk.
  • If you have provided personal or financial details as a result of a suspicious message, or lost money because of a scam, you should report it to Action Fraud at actionfraud.police.uk or by calling 0300 123 2040

HOW TO STAY SAFE – THE QUICK TRICK

Of course, if a crook is using voice cloning or has taken over the family member’s phone, checking with them through another method might not work.

So that’s where the clever trick comes in.

You’ll want to call your son or daughter (or mum or dad) today and set up a safe word or phrase.

It can be anything really – like a fruit, a place, or a date – but not something obvious like your birthday or hometown.

Close-up of a hand typing on a laptop keyboard.
Getty
You might think you’re talking to a family member – but it’s actually a brazen crook[/caption]

Then whenever one of you ask’s the other for money, you’ll demand the safe word to verify the identity.

Scammers will have no one of knowing this, as long as you haven’t written it down somewhere on your devices.

And it’s an instant way to prevent the scam from going any further.

It only takes half a minute to set up, and could save you from being conned out of thousands of pounds.

So give your family members a call today and make sure you have safe words set up.

Riley Gaines announces life-changing personal news just days after Simone Biles apology following trans feud

RILEY GAINES has announced she is pregnant – days after she was involved in a public feud with Simone Biles.

The former swimmer made the announcement on social media.

Simone Biles and Gaines were involved in public feud this week[/caption]

Posting a photo alongside her husband Louis Baker, Gaines wrote: “Surprise! we’re 26 weeks pregnant. God is SO good all the time.”

The pair got married in 2022 and are now welcoming their first child together.

Gaines was involved in a public feud with Olympic gymnast Biles this week.

The pair both accused each other of being “bullies” as they clashed over their views over trans women in sports.

Biles, 28, called Gaines “truly sick” and accused her of being a “bully.”

And Gaines, 25, hit back by claiming it was Biles who was “a truly sick bully by her own standard.”

Speaking on OutKick’s Clay and Buck, she claimed fans criticized Biles in her own comments section.

Gaines said, “I was prepared when I got that notification on my phone for that onslaught of hatred to come towards me.

“Look at Simone Biles‘ comments section – she is getting absolutely demolished to the point where I almost feel bad for her, like I really do.

“I have read these comments, I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh!’

“It was the number one trending thing on Twitter for two days straight.

“Even on TikTok, every video that pops up on my page is someone coming for Simone Biles for coming for me and for my body.”

Biles had hit out at Gaines over her campaigning to get rid of trans athletes from female sports.

Gaines said that Chaplin Park girl’s team turned the comments off a post because the team featured a transgender player.

The team just won the Minnesota State High School Championship in softball.

“Comments off lol,” Gaines wrote on the post.

“To be expected when your star player is a boy.”

Biles hit back by claiming Gaines was a “sore loser” and that her campaigning was because of a race result in 2022.

The gymnast said, “You’re truly sick, all of this campaigning because you lost a race. Straight up a sore loser.

“You should be uplifting the trans community and perhaps finding a way to make sports inclusive or creating a new avenue where trans feel sage in sports.

“Maybe a transgender category in all sports.

“But instead you bully them.

“One things for sure is no one in sports is safe with you around.”

Biles later followed up, “Bully someone your own size, which ironically would be a male.”
