TRAVIS KELCE enjoyed some of his summer holidays with a rival quarterback.

The 35-year-old enjoyed a well-deserved break over the last few months after helping the Kansas City Chiefs reach Super Bowl 59.

Kelce used some of his downtime to play in the American Century Championship golf tournament, in which a swathe of other NFL stars also competed in.

Among the American football stars in action in the tournament was Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Baker Mayfield.

And it seems the pair have struck up a friendship as a photo of them enjoying a sunset during the tournament with pals started doing the rounds on social media.

The snap showed Kelce appearing to hold a beer while sat next to brother Jason.

Mayfield was a guest on the Kelce brothers’ ‘New Heights’ podcast shortly after the ACC tournament in Tahoe.

The podcast is currently on hiatus now that Travis is back in pre-season training with the Chiefs.

The 2025 NFL season could be Kelce’s last as a pro.

Many football fans thought the tight end would call it a day after the Chiefs’ blowout loss to the Eagles in February.

But he’s shelved retirement for one more season with Andy Reid‘s side, who are hard at work ahead of the fast-approaching season.

Travis said of his decision to keep playing: “I think the biggest thing is that I f***ing love playing the game of football.

“I still feel I can play at a high level and possibly at a higher level than I did last year.

“I don’t think it was my best outing.

“I think I let my guys down in a lot more moments than I helped them, especially if you look at my track record and how I’ve been in years past.

“‘I want to give it a good run. I’ve got a bad taste in my mouth on how I ended the year and how well I was playing and how accountable I was for the people around me.

“I love so many people in Kansas City, both in that facility and the community and it’s home for me now.

PRESIDENT Donald Trump’s efforts to ban transgender athletes from women’s sports received more support.

A new policy was announced this week which could have huge ramifications for Olympic athletes.

A new guideline announced could have an impact on the Los Angeles Olympics in three years[/caption]

Los Angeles will host the 2028 Olympic Games.

And the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services have announced changes to their policy.

According to the new guidelines, USCIS will restrict visa eligibility for transgender women looking to compete in female sports.

USCIS spokesperson Matthew Tragesser said, “USCIS is closing the loophole for foreign male athletes whose only chance at winning elite sports is to change their gender identity and leverage their biological advantages against women.

“It’s a matter of safety, fairness, respect, and truth that only female athletes receive a visa to come to the US to participate in women’s sports.”

President Trump signed an executive order Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports in February just weeks after taking office again.

The order reads, “In recent years, many educational institutions and athletic associations have allowed men to compete in women’s sports.

“This is demeaning, unfair, and dangerous to women and girls, and denies women and girls the equal opportunity to participate and excel in competitive sports.”

The President’s new executive order was adopted by the US Olympic and Paralympic Committee this summer.

NBC News reported that the committee updated its policies.

The change was apparently made in an updated “Athlete Safety Policy.”

It reads, “The USOPC will continue to collaborate with various stakeholders with oversight responsibilities, e.g., IOC, IPC, NGBs, to ensure that women have a fair and safe competition environment consistent with Executive Order 14201 and the Ted Stevens Olympic & Amateur Sports Act.”

Last month, a new ruling saw college swimmer Lia Thomas stripped of all her college records.

Thomas, 26, won the US national college title in 2022 and shattered school records at the University of Pennsylvania.

But an announcement from the US Department of Education is set to remove those titles and records.

An official Government release said that UPenn is being investigated for possibly violating Title IX.

They are accused of allowing a male to compete in a female sport and occupy a female changing room.

The college has also agreed to apologize for allowing Thomas to compete, according to the release.

Secretary of Education Linda McMahon praised President Trump’s leadership for the action.

She said, “Today’s resolution agreement with UPenn is yet another example of the Trump effect in action.

“Thanks to the leadership of President Trump, UPenn has agreed both to apologize for its past Title IX violations and to ensure that women’s sports are protected at the University for future generations of female athletes.

“Today is a great victory for women and girls not only at the University of Pennsylvania, but all across our nation.

“The Department commends UPenn for rectifying its past harms against women and girls, and we will continue to fight relentlessly to restore Title IX’s proper application and enforce it to the fullest extent of the law.”

The event, running from Sept. 29-Oct. 3 in Brooklyn and Manhattan, and designed to support up-and-coming filmmakers and connect them with industry executives, will include the Project Market, Gotham Week Expo and Gotham Week Honors.
